i like it when they have chocolate bars on special for $1
Staff are horrible, don't go here.
They are always frendly when I go there
I shop their .
It's about as average as Coles gets, service is alright.
I know its a public holiday but the times of close should be correct ... they shut at 8 not 10
The self-service check out doesn’t work properly due to the weighing option. Quite annoying.
Coles is a major supermarket brand so you should be able to get everything you need in the one spot.
The coles supermarket at Turramurra is congested with narrow aisles , with stock blocking and the layout leaves much to be desired. Why do we have to get a trolley after inserting coins. Is the theft of trolleys so rampant in an affluent suburb that Coles has to resort to this?
This is a good supermarket except that they can be out of decent vegetables a lot, especially after work on a week day. They also allow people with a full trolley to use self-checkout, which is really frustrating to watch.
I hate going here, but it has everything I need to buy. You will probably hate it too, but it's convenient and the staff are pleasant. My advice: Take Bluetooth headphones and play loud music to dampen the pain.
Good supermarket, good range, good staff
Old, dirty, small, with a limited selection. Go to Macquarie or Hornsby instead.
Best Coles in Sydney for customer service and friendly a staff.
Good parking and quality grocery. Could have better ambience.
Good products, good place... easy to shop... an useful tip: go there and buy products tagged as 1/2 price... u will a find a lot of them... some days after, do the same and you will find other products as 1/2 price... do it all the time and you will save money 😉
Wide variety of grocery options. Walkable from Hornsby station. Located within Westfield. Good customer service. Spacious aisles for easy movement
Pluses: Quality fresh fruits and vegetables, value for money, great veriety of brands. Minuses: quality and packaging of Coles branded products isn't good enough compared to say Aldi, sometimes you may not get a particular brand of product because it isn't stocked or is out of stock.
Great place of everyday grocery. Right infront of the Hornsby station. Easily accessible through short walk from station. Ample of car park at Westfield. Watch for specials at every Aisle. Self checkout and counter check out available.
I’ve worked with Coles in their Hornsby store for 2 years now and I’ve seen managers come and go, I’ve seen the renovations and I’ve seen every type of customer imaginable, but I’m here to write a review of my store in the most fair manner I can. Firstly, some of the team are extremely nice and approachable people who are always willing to talk and eager to help, others are shy and try to keep to themselves when possible, but as a fellow team member I can see that every staff member is doing the best they can and putting their best foot forward everyday even after feeling sick or tired, they still try to put in the effort for the day ahead and sometimes all it takes is one annoyed customer to crack them. We try to keep each other going but there are times where the pressure can really get to an employee purely because of how a customer is treating them, for some people they struggle to remember that their cashier is a person as well and can’t magically fix all your problems, when you have an issue, they do the best they can to their knowledge to help, training for each team member is not consistent at all, however the team helps each other out when someone doesn’t know what they’re meant to do in a particular situation. In summary, treat your cashier with respect, they’re doing the best they can. As for pallets and cages being scattered around the isles, usually that’s only later at night (after 8ish) if it's any time before that, the cage is attended by a staff member who needs that cage at that time. They aren’t just leaving them around randomly. I also noticed another review that stated “They breach OH&S by moving pallets around in the store room floor. I've seen people there get injured by the staff running into people with them.” A statement like this is definitely a lone wolf type incident which to my memory, was treated professionally with staff offering help and medical assistance to which the customer simply shouted about how they were “attacked” and “targeted” which is obviously not true, that's like walking past someone and bumping into them and then getting told you assaulted them. Its an overreaction, not a fact. The same review also stated “And they don't keep any registers open at night! Good luck if you have a trolley full of stuff! Self serve for you! Apparently it's too expensive to employ register staff these days!”, again this is an isolated incident and if this ever happened it would not be because of how “expensive” it is to employ someone, the reason is because very few employees can legally work after 10pm at night because Coles employs many students and because of this they can’t work after 10pm, that leaves 3 or 4 employees, 1 on Service Desk, 1 on Self Service, 1 Manager and that leaves just 1 for registers, cleaning, stock, refill, etc. As for rude Managers/Service desk staff, this usually happens when a customer continues to insist on something which the manager cannot allow, such as refunds without receipts, when they are continuously refused the customer then sees this sort of action as rude, however it’s not rude, it’s store policy, not just for Coles but for many businesses.
Wide range of food with helpful staff and is open till late. Easy acces to carpark as well.
Plenty of everything. Good supermarket with a diverse range, including international ingredients. Very large fruit and veg section. Reasonably respectable deli. Huge frozen goods section. Butchery has been scaled down a bit.
The store is ok and the cashier is ok but the guys at the deli and seafood section....well, change job if you dont like it!!! They barely look at you, when you ask for something they looked annoyed...very rude very poor customer service!!!
Apart from the guy on the checkout the floor staff were glum and unhelpfu; l in fact rude. Like the Coles products though & well laid out.
No small trolleys as they are all down various streets. No normal cabbages except very expensive ones or chinese cabbage so went to Woolworths where I could buy a 1/4 or 1/2 of the large ones for much less than the very small expensive ones you had also went there for Mr Kipling Tiger slices which you dont stock. I must say that Woolworths staff appear to be in a "happy space" than majority of Coles staff.
I am a regular customer of Coles Neutral Bay. I always look for bargains and only purchase if it is within my price range. The number of mistakes they have made is questionable. Today there was a reduced to clear sales for a foundation. My girl took one and when we went to the check out it showed almost 10 times more price than it was printed on the tag. I questioned the mistake. The customer service rep said to me it was an error from the person who stored the stock. This is not the first-time experience. I never bothered to go back for 2-3 $ once I left the shop. Now I am checking my bill before I leave the place, to make sure, I am only paying the right amount of money written on the item.
The second more expensive super market after Woolworth ... But use less marketing strategy to make you spend more for less. I find the buy two for one of 50% less for the second an deplorable selling strategy that only benefits families and the rich because the single younger or retired pensioners can not afford to buy two to consume only one. Besides that fruits bought in the supermarkets have only an average of freshness of three or four days. So is most produces that in Spain have a much longer shelf life and freshness, how do you thing that half of the Spanish unemployed families and singles have survived in Spain after the Financial American catastrophe. ,,, they fed on supper markets and restaurants left over ...but they found that the more expensive suburbia restaurants had less left overs than the cheapest ones!
Your standard supermarket. Good parking.
This Coles is never too busy. Plenty of room in the isles to move around. I would love it if they had more environmentally responsible products.
This is a conveniently located Coles supermarket with easy parking and a good range of produce etc. I find that I get value for money at this supermarket with some excellent specials throughout the week. The Big Bear centre could do with a makeover however to enhance the overall shopping experience.
Lovely staff, always trying to help if you ask, and often smiling. Standard supermarket stuff, with no wow factor, but lots of mundane necessities. Fruit and veg usually fresher than the competition, but they also run out toward the end of the day: it's worth asking. Parking's also much easier than the nearby competitor.
Very expensive compared to other stores in Sydney. No wheeler carts; good for a few items only
Friendly yet closes early nice atmosphere.
Horrible service, limited goods. Poor shopping environment. Not recommend at all.
The female staff at the bakery store was very rude to me today. I ask for an apricot tart. She threw it at me and said abruptly "anything else". I told het she was so rude and she pretended now to understand me. She is Asian. However the other older Asian was very nice and helpful. This incidence spoil my day.
Great grocery store and good hours of operation.
The staff here are courteous and helpful. I must especially commend their honesty. Three times I have left items or money behind, and each time when I have returned to look for them, the staff had either saved them behind the counter, or helped me find them. What a great bunch of people.
Probably the best supermarket in this section of town. Has a really good deli section outside of the main section.
The hot food section has incorrect signs. I don't understand some of the things you do and why but the person serving me would not even explain. Only told me we cannot do this even though the sign says $3 for 2 or $5 for 4 or $1.50 each. They would not sell just 3 pieces. So silly
Convenient location, but more expensive than other Coles supermarkets without as many of the usual specials.
Reasonable range of items. Major plus is the convenience. Staff are very friendly.
got good service at coles wynyard , was assisted by Dionisis he was very helpful and also knew where the products where without having to ask other people , he provided 5 star customer service
Only drive passed there and shopped once, but very disappointed with the services there! Some of the staff can be very rude!
Normally really good the outdoor carpark is ridiculous.... however I bought a rockmelon from there 3 days ago and had to chuck it out today as it was covered in mould.... 😝😝
Morisset Coles - products on shelves not very well 'sign-posted' in isles so big waste of time looking for things. (not like Woolworths) and not much of a selection of tinned fruits options.
That horrible music blaring throughout the store makes shopping a very bad experience. Either no music or at the very least less loud, would certainly make it better. Of equal importance; the loudspeaker announcements too are much too loud. Otherwise ok.
Clean and tidy and always well stocked. Staff friendly and helpful.
Just your usual Coles. Often do our shopping here. More staff on checkouts would be good. Other than that, it's a pretty standard fare.
All your standard Coles stuff is here, I just don't get a very good phone or data signal anywhere in the complex (i'm with Vodafone) just in case you need to use phone pay, or check your account balance.
Good Coles, easy layout
Self serve registers
Other take away stores outside
Open until 10pm, so handy for the late night suply run
Helpful staff, everything we needed was in stock, lots of parking, comparative prices.
I Shop at coles every thursday and have done for many years and in the past 6 months or so thursdays seem to be the day not to shop shelves are bare add stock is unavailable even at10 am the deli was only half stocked no seafood at all on display thought maybe fridges broken but staff member said just running late . Plastic bags in fruit n veg are few and far between.what has happened coles I know you can be better than this.
Terrible there were so many empty shelves. Plus the fruit and vegetables were half empty same with milk
It's standard Coles.. parking is sometimes a pain...
Well set Out.. Always busy. Not cheap,.. But, good special's esp on new lines and ethnic recipe s
It's a Coles. The experience is fairly standardised regardless of location.
Just what you would expect for coles. Underground parking is good on hot or rainy days.
Awesome friendly staff. Had everything needed for our stay at Kurri.
Staff are ALWAYS super friendly and always happy to help
Clean well organised and helpful staff what more can l say..
Great variety. Big store. Just didn't notice staff on the floor for any assistance.
A nice grocery store with a modern feel. Staff were friendly and happy to help.
Customer service here can b very poor n also under qualified ppl working the check outs
A huge coles for the size of this town has all the usuals that go with this supermarket.
They always have new choices for meals and snacks that are well priced for people who are on a budget
Ideal store to shoplift - store layout it designed to encourage and support shoplifting - ideal place to bring your kids for a free post school feed
Great Coles and customer service from all staff, as well as the nicest and tidiest Coles I have seen by far
Convenient and easy place to grocery shop
Coles currently has a chicken deal where you get a free chicken voucher if they run out of chickens before 8pm.
This is a really nice gesture towards their customers.
Only problem is, when you actually try to claim your free chicken voucher from the front desk you are met with nothing but pure attitude rudeness.
I shop quite late when I finish work and so have attempted to claim one on several occasions when I was unable to buy one for dinner. Every single time the experience is the same, to the point where id quite rather shop elsewhere.
If you don't have a chicken deal, ok. But if you are going to have one then why treat your customers poorly for attempting to make use of it?
#ShouldHaveGoneToWoolworths
Conveniently located. Good shopping experience. The aisles are well defined and the store does do better markdowns on some products than other stores. The aisle layout keeps changing more frequently than other stores
I wonder why Coles/Shell Petrol at Norwest on average is 10c dearer per litre
than the next Petrol Station close by ?
We were in desperate need of regular quinoa BUT ALL THEY HAD WAS RED QUINOA
They have taken a store with nice wide aisles and crammed in additional displays and obstacles. Very frustrating. It makes it difficult for older people with arthritis (for an example) to manoeuvre their trolley around the store.
As streamlined and comprehensive as you'll ever need for a regonal supermarket
Friendly helpful staff. Carpark is a bit small.
Coles is a joke. We brought fresh food and it was off and had to go back. Never have stock I'm looking for and never cash registers open.
Always good service, just check use by dates on meats before you buy..
This shopping centre needs a lot more parking. Very few variety shops in centre.
One checkout open took half an hour to get though after being in there for just 20 minutes shopping.
People with no sense of direction meandering through, vapid staff/nowhere near enough staff to accomodate guests...
Parking spots far too tight.
Go to wollies
Just your average Coles supermarket. Located in a small shopping complex with other stores such as Priceline, Target, Michel's Patisserie, Baker's Delight, a jeweller, a gift shop, a take away food outlet and public restrooms. Parking can be difficult in peak times.
good to visit coles to grab some food and snack for your drinking night in hunter valley stay. you can get hot food and salad here in coles, and there's takeway food available nearby.
Quick and not crowded on week day morning. Friendly staff
Don't go there
A smaller store so some selection is limited but generally had all the essentials
Good staff clean store great prices.
Might be old but very easy to get a park
Very convenient spot even may not have the most comprehensive range of product but staff are so much friendlier than the other coles in the area. sometimes if you are lucky you might see the security playing ukulele. Well done guys
Smaller Coles. Not a huge range of lines.
Seafood section always smells not fresh.
Plenty parking.
lots of health items that made for coles are inexpensive and qualities
Cheaper than woolworths jindabyne.
Good central supermarket that always has fresh stock
Great selection of fresh food and grocery items.
Fresh produce awesome.
got everything we need
good location on centre of city
Basic groceries and the store not well organized.
Not the best Coles but you will get everything you are looking for except the Deli. The Deli here is quite limited.
Good selection, friendly staff. What I've come to expect from Coles.
Had everything we went for and had lunch at the noodle bar very tasty
Always well stocked, very clean, tidy aisles and always well staffed with courteous professional people. I always have a pleasant and hassle free shopping experience at my local Coles 👍
Nice and convenient and also nice and local. Much easier doing a shop here than going to one of the big shopping centres.
Handy to home, normally has everything I need and prices reasonable.
Friendly staff and everything i need is always in Stock and fresh 😊
My shopping was a breeze, items were easy to find. The staff were very helpful at the checkout. I love shopping at Coles.
Much better set up than most other Coles, room to move and shop without the crowds. Staff are very helpful and appear to have a team based ethos.
Kincumber Coles is a great supermarket. Easy parking and good staff!
Prepare for a battle of the car parks as you enter one of the worst designed setups of your life. Forget about parking in the parents with prams section too, as the grey army will ignore all signs and direction in this menace.
Good range. Friendly staff. Good parking.
Good friendly little coles. It has a bigger range than the Green point coles. Parking is Ok and there are toilets in the complex
Generally busy. Quick in the self service but slow on the normal checkouts sometimes. Lack of staff an issue on that one
Good luck finding a car park here. Especially in peak hour...
Coles Supermarket. Stocks the usual assortment of food and grocery items. Slightly bigger and newer than your average Coles Supermarket.
Reasonable Coles for the area. Pretty clean and friendly service
Definitely one of my favourite coles. With a massive selection of health foods and vegetarian options. Very friendly and helpful staff
the lake haven store stocks more items,
wadalba needs to match !
overall customer service from staff are great! still prefer to shop at wadalba.
In and out in faster time then lake haven!
OK supermarket but i ts not just Coles but I believe they should get rid off all self checkouts everywhere because there is a lot of desrimination
Hard to park and get a very negitive attitude when shopping here.fruit and vege was not fresh at all,so much so that i refused to purchace
Great little supermarket to quickly stop in on way home
Originally had a problem with bread supply when first opened but seems to have improved. Good for a small premises
Friendly service and good food at a reasonable price
Good for a quick shop but doesn't always have the stuff your after. No public toilets or undercover parking.
We love dapto Coles but one complaint you need more staff on between the hours of 7-30 and 9 00 am there were nine people waiting to get out of the store this morning all queuing at the fast check out which is not fair as most of them had trolleys full there needs to be more checkouts open ,my family and friends have all started shopping at Coles because they were sick of the waiting time and bad service at Woolworths please do not let the dapto store go down the same road just for a lack of staff the staff you have a brilliant .
Got what I want.. In, out,,,, quick
Always a good experience
Good
Great shopping
The self checkout interface is getting worse. Got one to work properly on the 3rd go. (Hint look what some of the other large chains do)
More than happy with the politeness of your staff they were very helpful and the variety of goods are excellent
Great supermarket. Go here all the time.
I shop here for 90% of my gocery shopping due to the concenience. The store needs updating but the range is pretty good & staff are friendly.
Busy but good local coles
Usually good but need to watch for sale price tags still on the shelves that have expired... like what happened today and of course didn't realise til I got home :(
The prices are cheaper than Coles at Wollongong Central, sometimes.
Mostly good service with a good variety of products.
The store has a good range but could really do with an upgrade.
Attendeamts at self checkout need to be more attentive ie. Not chatting on mobile phone!
One employee named Karinya, she is so rude and disrespectful. When she works as cashier, she behave very rudly. I won't see her never again.
Really wanted to get a packet of McVities choc coated biscuits but wa2d not able to find them in the bikkie section. Wanted to ask someone but didn't have time as I was in work break. I bought a few other things then went to another shop to buy the biscuits.
It has everything you need. Most of the staff are good. The fruit and vegetables quality has improved a lot recently. The seafood/deli section doesn't smell great but I think this is because it's so old not due to cleanliness. The whole shop is in desperate need of a makeover.
Very down to earth staff, helpful and friendly, compare to dee why grand coles who are rude and unpleasant. Would stick to this coles any day.
Has everything in a supermart except clothes!! Great parking and quick access. Has food court and cheap asian and vegetable stores nearby with a great deli and pharmacy in the plaza. Coles has great service people and quick access for those in a hurry.
Can get very busy in both store and carpark.
Situated on northern side of Dee Why so you miss the bulk of the Dee Why traffic jams.
Great place to get your everyday needs.
The staff at Dee Why are lovely and the store is pleasant and clean. The small trolleys are locked which is really annoying as I tend to use them if one is a available then carry my shopping.
What is really annoying is the difficulty in redeeming those flybuy dollars, Coles like to make it agony for the customer. Grrr
Conveniently located in Dee Why Grand and opens till late.
Convenient parking, easy access to shops
Big store. Wide and clean.
You will see why when you ask for something.
Usually I give Coles 4 out of 5 stars but today the negative and almost rude attitude of their cafe/bakery assistant Simone left me wishing I had gone to Woolworths.
Dont like having to walk through half the centre to get there. There are more convenient places close by.
Decided to go shopping at 11.30pm on my way back from work. Sally and Ben made my day! Best help and customer service ever. Thanks guys
You will see why when you ask for something.
Ok over priced and need coin for trollies. Closes early. However staff friendly and helpful.
Bigger rangethan most other supermarkets on the coast. Can get a little busy at times but lots of choice makes it worthwhile.
Always good to do your shopping and you also have a great health food isle.
I would give it a 4 star but not that great of place to get good food
To many store brands. Little choice. Stocked items sometimes missing from shelves
Easy access and fast to get in and out of.
The Umina Coles isn't that great, Woy Woy Coles has a much wider variety.
Good local Coles store, well stocked, clean. Staff is friendly and helpful
Of the bog boys I find Coles more convenient and cheaper. Our local Woy Woy store is well run.
Does not have much varieties
Newly renovated this Coles is fabulous complete with on site bakery & deli.
Normally love Coles, but bananas prepackaged in plastic... If only they had their own naturally-occurring organic biodegradable packaging! Environmental big no no in my opinion.
Very open , no congestion in the car park or in the shop . 😉👍 very good
Convenient, trusted company, ok product range, ok pricing, marginal vegetables
Convenient as close to other shops. Staff friendlier than most. Perfect for in and out. Vegies and fruit high quality.
I go early morning after gym. Lots of kids and workers buying 2-3 items but they do not open the self serve section. I was 7th in a queue of 9 at one of the two checkouts. the other had at least the same number of people queueing. After the wait I get home to find the lady at the checkout did not put in either my cauli or eggs. She didn't charge me for them either but must have left them on the belt. I know I should have noticed but hey just assumed she would get them. Please, Coles. Open your self service early. If my gym wasn't there i'd go to woolies!
Great staff very helpful and friendly
Always busy full of people lacking spacial awareness. Good for visitors, good variety of smaller portions
Perhaps the person who wrote this""He was treated with attitide and rudeness by staff." was Rude to the staff? Price is only a minor factor to us, supply and service paramount. Cole World Square you win on both scopes!
Great selection of stuff and best of all it opens early and closes late. :)
Massive Coles in the heart of the city. The go-to place for most people on the their way home from work. It has everything at great prices and so it gets quite crowded during peak hours. But the personnel are ready for this and there's about 100 self service checkout machines.
Been here a zillion times when I am in the vincinity, nice and big coles with lots of variety and almost always open whenever I need to buy something
A very good srore, products are easy to find. The staff were not very helpful, I encountered two staff members and neither spoke English to me!
We bought some groceries. They had a reasonable variety of goods. Too much plastic packaging for my liking. Didnt see one member of status quo anywhere, which was disappointing.
Great variety of stock and products. Lots of checkout, minimal waiting time. Central location.
Products = good amount of range,
Prices = competitive,
Location = convenient, inside World Square shopping mall, close to Museum station,
Service = standard,
5 star is reserved for bigger supermarket/ branch which offer wider range of products.
In summary, a decent supermarket.
The store is huge and very clean. Great location. Surprisingly most customers were Asian people, though they don't sell many Asian products. I wondered why.
Lots of open space to fit all the people, plenty of payment stations so no waiting time when checking out. Fresh vegetables.
Love the place. As a tourist the products offered great in varieties. Price reasonably cheap even. The self checkout is really fast and quick.
Complete range of goods available, though a little pricy. Staff could be more accommodating and helpful, as we weren't familiar with the self checkout.
Always understocked shelves and rotting fresh produce. Very busy during after work shops and lacking in staff. Night shopping is a mess due to boxes being everywhere
Very good location and convenient, but Refurb. is really needed.
Having read previous reviews (5) it is clear to me that a) the concensus is that this is a store which is offering unsatisfactory service in many areas (particularly management practices) and b) not a very pleasant place in which to work. And I say this with the insights gained over 25+ years with the Department of Immigration. Oh, and c) Wesfarmers doesn't give a tuppenny damn about the negative reviews we write. Thanks for nothing.
Fast manned checkout. Small branch.. Not much selection. Ok if you want fruit.
Staff is quite helpful.
Things could have arranged little more better.
Better during times when not busy as store is small. Staff are quite nice though.
This is a very small Coles, covers only the essentials. It has a small deli. Nice staff.
small coles but very convenient. has self service for quick in and out. may not have the biggest choice but has everything you'll probably need.
Made 2 loops around the place trying to find the parking. Saw only on-street places, all taken. Gave up on this and drove to another place.
Convenient location. Not many specials compared to bigger Coles supermarkets. A bit small and old. But great for location.
Usually a good variety of fresh produce/meats albiet can sell out of items in the deli early on. Products aren't as extensive as the Woolies down the street as expected & some items are priced higher than other supermarkets (including other coles). Staff are often nice but there are many familiar sour faces who don't offer the best customer service.
Lane Cove Coles is one of the older store layouts. It has the items I want and it easy to park. It is my preferred supermarket.
10+ years customer and always happy! Thank you :)
Very helpful staff and I found the checkouts to be very efficient be it self serve or staffed. The deli offers a decent variety and quite high quality produce.
Good selection, and very busy, but usually easy to get through the self serve checks. Deli is pretty good.
Old and run-down and proposed new development is long overdue. Had to go to Woolworth for 3 items you were OOS.
Lane cove supermarkets are disgusting. Visit any other area and you will see the difference
Very handy shopping with the grocer, Asian supermarket and bottle shop downstairs with chemist and Gourmet market nearby. Street parking is difficult, try out the back.
Could be better set out, the most common items are on completely different ends of the store e.g Milk is right at the very back, cereals are all the way to one side and bread is on the other at the front.
Good one. Lots of space unlike other outlets. Looks bigger and brighter. Parking is difficult and so is access to parking.
Open late, decent range, easy to drop in an out quickly at night
It is really nice to go shopping for groceries in a bot so crowded place.
Not good. Messy. The bakery section is not good at all. Meat is terrible.
I feel like I have to send out an apology to the service lady because I interrupted there morning chit-chat while I needed someone to help me at the counter.
Not going there again.
Rude customer service experienced by 'Colleen-323'
Mostly good experiences. Was falsely accused of shoplifting once, which was a humiliating experience. Bakery staff do not wear gloves when handling bread. Did receive excellent customer service from supervisor when deli staff refused to sell item for display price, got the item for free
Only good thing it opens til 11pm. Otherwise, lack of products everyday everytime. It's unforgivable considering how many people go there after work and how many backpackers go there!!! They should be able to restore asap. It all started since they extended the store are and most likely reduced storing.
This place never has things stocked on shelves.. The items aren't priced. Just to ask a price I had to talk to three people including the manager. See pics. Always rude... Better to go to Woolworths down.the road.
So much pharmacy personal care stuff that there is no room for variety in other products. Every time I go to Coles I see brands diminishing and less choice. I think I might go to an independent grocer or ALDI in future.
Also I've written to management about the low quality fruit & veg with no response or feedback on how they might fix this problem. Anyway I solved it myself, I now buy fruit and veg of the highest quality from Harris Farm Market
was better before they changed the layout 😞 still better than woolies. its got most things 😃
At present I'm finding it the most annoying shop, anything I usually buy is discontinued. So, a quick shop turns into a minimalist shop and a trek somewhere else.
Also, the renovations are beyond annoying, cannot find anything.
Good Coles. Usually well stocked and has what you need. Can get busy but lots of self check-out registers speed up the payment as typically people only locals shop light here rather than a typical Coles with lots of family/trolley purchasers. No parking.
I love coles. Just love it. Id sleep there if i could
Big supermarket, lacking diversity in some essential Products
big selection, good supermarket brand products
open 24/7 almost
Solid Coles with good variety considering not huge. Consistently good staff and good experience.
It not a full sized Coles so doesn't carry everything a normal store would. Staff is overworked feel sorry for them.
A little difficult to find downstairs.
Place is very well stocked with lots of specials and staff are friendly. You may struggle a little with an internet connection down there.
Worst Coles supermarket ever visited. Staff very unfriendly, very unhelpful and products hardly ever available on shelves. Quality of freshness is not even worth talking about. If you can, I would shop at any other supermarket and avoid this Coles.
Large modern Coles supermarket in Forestville. Underground parking available too.
Local shops and eateries also in this compact shopping hub.
Medical centers, dentists, chemists, and many restaurants.
Chris, male at front desk didn't give a toss about there being none of the newer trolleys with the shorter base, the ones making shopping just that little bit easier for people with bad backs. Duty manager was more understanding.
Nice big store. Don't go late a night as the staff give the impression they are too busy to even sell you cigarettes. The rest of the center is a little run down and could use a clean up
What can i say. It's just a supermarket! It's like being a holden or ford fan. Ford being Coles and Holden being Woolworths. I'm definitely a Holden supporter.
Great selections, good fruit and vegetables, Super Sushi Bar. Excellent staff. Easy parking and access. Good pricing.
As usual, great choices and good prices
no longer stocking smooze "natural" ice blocks...... boooooo what, got some deal going with the makers of zooper dooper? ok, woolies shopping it is
Fresh fresh produce. Purchased goods never seen before at other Coles.
You know what you get with Coles. Reliable and unspectacular.
Very handy location and really good working hours. Parking might be a little difficult at times.
Always get fresh fruit and veg. Always clean and the staff are very friendly
One star is not good enough, there should be an option to put minus stars. There is no proper conduct at this place when it comes to issues with money and glitchy machines. To have no guaranteed call back , a contact number or given a manager number or fill out a proper official document and only to have left my contact details on a back on a bloody receipt; what is this a dodgy, cash under counter, corner store!? To have to actively follow up when i had just paid up front because the machine is broken??? And what is the use of CCTV cameras if they 'aren't clear enough'. This place must be aHOT SPOT for thieves as 'cameras aren't clear enough'. Better staff training and conduct is desperately needed here. Not good enough Coles, you need to catch up with Woolworths.
Great location, been coming here for over 10years, huge store, best thing is that it has undercover parking at the basement level good for when is raining
Great local coles. Lots of parking except during peak hours and sat nights.
Large coles. Sufficient parking. Near epping station and major bus stops.
Entry/exit is odd, but the usual food can be found here and they even sell a surprising amount of clothing too. Plenty of parking underneath.
Has lot of options. Easily accessible. Ample parking space is available. If you have card then it is easy to bill yourself instead of waiting in queues.
I have been living in Epping and shopped at this Coles 100+ times for over 4 years now and today Coles Epping disappointed me the most. Foods and groceries are excellent and up to Coles standard except the customer service. I was asking the lady named Connie if I can borrow the trolly for a bit to push to near my house which is 5 mins away and their trollies are coin-locked which I will have to bring it back to get my coin. Except looking at my trolly of full groceries, she smirked at me and had that way of looking down at people. Thanks Connie, I know my pride is worth more than $2 and your facial expression has just ruined the whole experience of shopping at Coles Epping which is less than that now.
Spacious store with easy parking. Polite staff. Great for fruits.
Easy parking, near other shops, store is laid out well and offers a lot of variety.
Certain times of day they have nothing on the selves. Best bread rolls from supermarket in the area. Better than any other coles.
Very friendly staff, with inexpensive and quality products
I mean its Coles.
But do you know what happens when Woolworths burns down?
You get Coles!
Friendly team members. Good pricing. Great specials.
shop in here weekly, staff are friendly barring my experience last week, went through self serve, and had 1 staff watching over me,asking if i purchased an item, which then she went to another staff member and started whispering then when i finished the other staff member asked to see my receipt????then as i was leaving they were still whispering. I felt so uncomfortable in saying that - staff are very helpful :)
WOW - just got back from coles warringah and again some short lady with glasses and an accent, asked me if she could scan my bulk water, which i replied "i have already scanned it" and she looked at me as if i was lying??? then when we left, i turned back and saw her open the terminal and presumably checking the receipt?? seriously this is the 2nd time ... Im now thinking hmm the racist card is ready to come out - not happy 23/04
Less people, cleaner, then at Woolworth on the other side. But for the same reason chilled products such as milk may not be as fresh. Although has a revolting dopey smell coming from bakery sometimes. Ok for quick grab a rice and a chocolate.
Classic supermarket, good selection of product!
Great service , friendly helpful staff, clean tidy store.
Coles in Manly is split between two separate stores within 2 minutes walk of each other.
It's done out of necessity - but you'll not be satisfied with either store in isolation.
Friendly helpful staff, small enough to find staff and products.
Satisfied our sweet tooth with these yummy treats we found at Coles. I love these stores where you can find essentials when traveling.
Small enough but a good range and quick to get in and out.
Good location wide range of products
Good stock and plenty of parking in the underground carpark...1st 2hrs free, conditions till 7pm.
Two Coles withing two blocks and each stocks different items. You often need to go to both stores to get what you want
Good place for a shop 0:
Not the biggest coles but has everything we need. Larger fresh section would result in more stars...
Just your average decent coles, nothing special, but doesn't have a very wide selection of products.
Smaller supermarket with a bit less stock than some but does well and works very hard at friendliness and hospitality.
A bit smaller than other stores and feels kind of cramped but it's not bad or anything. Service is fine but more staff on the floor would be good.
Being a smaller than average Coles store, it didn't have everything I expected and the service at the cramped self serve ceckout was ordinary
Love this Coles. Have shopped here for 34yrs and have enjoyed its growth and changes over the years. Very friendly helpful staff, good selection of items, huge growth in gluten free products and still growing. The only reason it lost one star is for the smell in the carpark specially in the evenings.
A huge store and they have got a huge range of products.I loved shopping over there.
Weird eggy smell in carpark. But the people are great looking
Very run down Coles supermarket. Don't visit when it's raining or you will slip on the puddles on the floor!
Range is decent but not as good as Woolworths at Gordon. Go to Gordon if you want more interesting items, especially for entertaining.
Fresh produce is ok, but we have had to take meat back a couple of times that went off before the use-by date.
Nobody to help
Great store, great service. Fantastic variety. I love the new Gluten Free Isle. Very helpful. :)
I really like this Coles, the staff are friendly and helpful. They have a pretty good selection of fruit and veg and it always looks nice.
This place is also convient, and is in warriewood square.
They now close the self check out later in the evening so there is only one lane open that often has a huge line. Go to Woolworths instead, much quicker.
I have been there countless times at 8 30 at night with a trolley full of items and the checkouts are closed and the same lady watches you try and use the self serve with no room. At know point does she consider to help. Pour customer service in my opinion. I am over it and going to Woolworths now ad they are happy to serve you at the counter like Coles once did.
Every time we buy something that we really like, you discontinue it. This has happened many times. We are going back to Woolies!
Huge range of brands and products!!! Shelves are always full. This coles bound to have what your looking for.
Grate place to shop but have reasently stared closing self service cheackouts erly
I like shopping here as the store is nice and bright, and kept generally clean and tidy. Late at night it can be a bit of a challenge playing 'dodge the pallet trolleys' as they restock the shelves, but otherwise it's a great store.
Right near the entrance so it's quick to get in and out of.
Bought some groceries here.
I like the 50% off items and enjoy the range of foods. It would nicer if the self-service checkout menus were easier to navigate.
Always a place to buy foods for your children!
Nothing feels worse than being suspected of stealing when you are buying honestly. If you are worried, please try to find another way to prevent stealing at your place. Rather than suspecting random people.
I like the variety of things you can get there and their prices are also very competitive.
Big. Not alot of check out lines open. Serve ur self. Poor service as staff are replaced by machines.
Disorganised, very busy, staff don't seem to care and aren't very friendly. Owned by some nasty companies that do more harm than good.
Small and tiny isles. Very busy so trolley jams everywhere. Coles in the chase is much better
Busy! but well stocked!
Great selection, great prices. Great range of produce at a great price. Can always count on Coles to keep prices down.. Down down, prices are down! My only issue is having to trudge through the Westfield mall to get to it.
Awful! The entire place is so disorganised and there are huge column in the middle if the aisles!!!
The most disgusting Coles I have ever seen. An absolute shock to see raw egg on the floor. A serious OH&S issue. There were food scraps, plastic bags and wet napkins on the floor throughout the store. Aside from that it looked shabby and messy. It was more like Fremington Markets than Coles.
Some yummy mummy's around today
Shelves are never stocked. Your regular items continuously disappear from stock. Awful.
The staff are excellent, always polite and helpful.
I could go on and on about their attitude and helpfulness. They stop what they are doing and sort your problem in the nicest way.
How are you supposed to rate a visit to the supermarket to buy bread and milk? OK...loved the lack of people..didn't enjoy navigating around the shelve packers, but they probably wished I was somewhere else as well....loved that I could find a parking space near the door...uuummm.....no queue at the checkout.. ..what am I doing this for anyway? Who even cares? I certainly don't! I have too give a star rating before I can post...GIVE ME STRENGTH!
Great store. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. Everybody is always willing to go above and beyond for the customers. Been shopping there for years and will continue to do so.
Most of the staff are lovely some can be a bit rude but overall I do my shopping there weekly
Self checkouts available
Former Bi-Lo, now a Coles. Good small supermarket, but without an in-store bakery.
This is a smaller Coles but their selection is still very good. Fresh produce and deli food is available. The parking lot is difficult to get into without scraping the bottom of your car, if you have a sports car consider parking on the street.
Not a massive selection in this small Coles. Very handy though.
Had to search for fresh produce bags and wait at deli counter because no one in attendance. Never a pleasant experience at cokes Kilarbey Vale. No choice as no other supernarkets nearby.
Lovely little Coles. Quick stop. Enough parking.
Rasy access. Loads of close by parking and no trouble with staffing levels. In and out quickly!
Got everything I needed nice and quick
Average supermarket, never have many deals like other coles do.
Nothing wrong with the store, just a lot of old dinosaurs work there. I much prefer to get my groceries home delivered.
My wife and I were tired so we bought a cooked chicken for dinner it wax dry stringy last food my family will by from coles forever we will make a point to ask our family and friends not to shop at colles
Got everything you could possibly need
Some of the service staff are quite rude, speaking as if I was wasting their time instead of helping me like a customer. I have heard the same from quite a few others. It's to the point where we're all getting sick of it. If that's the way its going to be, I'm not spending my money there anymore.
Rather go to woolworths to spend money more friendly and helpfull coles is full of chiefs and not enough indians
Coles at Warners Bay never have enough registers open. We avoid the place and drive further to shop
OMG! The bakery here is awesome! Check this Cole's out! You'll be glad you did.
Good shopping great variety. Easy parking
An ok supermarket...
Friendly service
Decent supermarket, good fresh food selection.
Prices are okay some great pricing on the Coles range of products if you know what ones are better than the branded items
Generally just another supermarket with nothing to special about it. Supermarkets in Australia seem to be just that supermarkets. In NZ they have cafes and you can buy a fresh cup of coffee while shopping making for a better experience
Not bad. Usually have a small wait at registers. Good range.
no friendliness in this place, staff rude and not very helpful, would rather go to the not so flashy other coles in howard ave.
These days it's all about avoiding customers, as Coles DY Grand attempt to give people the impression the store is closed at 10pm instead of the real closing time which is midnight. They close all their doors that are visable from the street every night of the week. Infact on one occasion we mistakenly saw the doors closed and assumed it was closed and went to Woolworths. It wasn't until I looked at the hours of trading online that I realised this was not the case.
One of the northern beaches best supermarkets
The biggest in the area
Great local Coles. Always good stock. Never really busy. Great underground parking
Good collection of almost everything. One stop
We come here every two days and we are always satisfied.
Terrible quality 'fresh' fruit and vegetables
Very good pleasant staff good food nice outlook
Plenty of staff, many brands, sizes and excellent prices.Great parking nearby, staff always happy and helpful
Great as most shops were closed so grocery shopping and parking very quick and easy
Easy to get a park now. Could do with a toilet at the Coles end. Early days yet
Good parking, friendly helpful staff, good value.
Best coles ever.
Service is always A+
Yep, they got groceries and wotnot.
Always less busy than woolworths never much of a wait at checkout
I generally preference Coles over others but one of the areas they consistently fail is in offering low-sugar products, especially diet soft drinks. This is where Woolies excels.
The store cooked chicken and roast beef is pretty decent, especially when they go on sale late at night.
I also find it a bit odd to mix groceries and clothing, I feel like it's a waste of floor space but it must be popular enough.
We always choose coles over woolies here because we like the set up of the aisles in comparison. Usually good food and prices. Sometimes the fresh fruit can be fresh out of the freezer and not the best. But I could say the same about woolies. Just the run of luck what you get. Last week was fabulous for grapes and cherries and strawberries. Yum.
No zuchinni or potatos. Absolute spud of a supermarket.
Good location, consistent service.
Occasionally not enough checkouts open but there's a good range, and most of the staff are friendly. Fruit is fresh and so is the meat.
Range of fresh fruit & veg is poor.
Discussed with the extremely poor customer service at coles the junction only 2 checkouts open at 8.30a.m. this morning. I have limited time to take an elderly client shopping as i am a community care worker. I was told by the checkout staff that there was no manager that i could speak too and i find thst comment hard to beleive. Also it is not the first time that cleaners are useing large cleaning machines to clean floors during shopping hours and how they come around the corner and nearly knock you or your elderly client down i feel it is an accident waiting to happen just to save coles a few dollars on penalty rates.
Good selection of vegetarian/vegan foods.
Good variety, nice staff but mostly smells foul in certain areas
Used register No4 . Brooke . Very good at job and respectful towards customers at all times have been served by her on several occasions
Plenty of parking. Best of all it's open 24hrs. There is always a security guard in the late hours so I feel very safe to shop at 2am.
Staff are great just don't leave your handbag in your trolley. by the time you get to checkout you may find it gone and that you have paid for someone else's groceries, and smokes and petrol and prepaid phone credit and goon
Couldn't access three aisles due to cleaning. I know it needs to be done but can it be smaller sections or maybe have staff able to grab the few essentials we can't get to?
Ample parking, quiet after 2000hrs, it's open 24/7, has an atm & Office Works next door. Do all my shopping here. Staff are hard to find when you're looking for something.
Standard Coles supermarket. Not as much stock as other supermarkets; specialty ingredients often need to be bought at other locations.
No good vegan range in this day and age. Fruit and vegetables aren't great either.
Prices are generally good. Prices on specials are great. At peak hours, stocks are often low and queues long.
Self serve check outs always down and sometimes just doesn't work well at all.
nice to walk directly into the fresh produce area. open late.
Well stocked with decent prices and specials throughout the week. Open to midnight most night.
Typical Coles. Not big like Macquarie but good enough
Great selection, veggies sometimes not the freshest though.
What an experience for a South African. Checking out your own groceries. Wow. Self regulation!
Small store but does the job.
Fantastic service
Specially the guys at the grocery department always ready to help you with whatever you need .
Always love to shop there great atmosphere
Most staff members are friendly and helpful but other staff treat you like dirt even after going to the store since it oppened. These staff need to be retrained in customer service or moved to packing shelves so they don't have as much contact with the customers. You know who you are!!!
You can find some fresh food... I love when I find mint and peas... They have great outlets and promotions!!
Staff members can be a hit and a miss thing, for goodness sake there's a lady there older in age and chubby with short hair, don't know her name she yells across the registers from the tobacco section like she's not at work it's so unprofessional, her conduct is not good. She could be one of the day managers not sure. She hung up on me one day for asking her for a price over the phone.
There is a nice lady there however, at nights Indian looking could be a manager she's very courteous, polite and helpful . On another note, the aisles are sometimes blocked staff replenishing stock which is understandable, but I find that i have to visit all the aisles because the DISPLAY SIGNS are in disorder. Otherwise, produce is great, trading hours are great, opening at 6:00am, no other supermarket opens this early it's a big bonus!!
My favorite place to do groceries shopping. Coles has good quality of fresh fruits and also a good and fair reward points system.
If i had the choice to select 0 stars I would. Lilian has the worst customer service, very unfriendly. Whilst she was cashiering my groceries she told another customer off. He was waiting in like, looks like she didnt want to serve him and tried palming him off to the self check out section. He came back stating the machine that accepts cash is not working. She gave him alot of attitude, and started mumbling. If you dont want to show any caring attitude dont choose customer service.
Parking can be a challenge, but an OK Coles with Bakers Delight right next door.
Easy to get to from home. Has everything i need most days. Underground carpark is great. Fruitn vege is not fresh or is limited in range tho.
Staff are not friendly or helpful maybe that was the first impression I got few months ago. freezing cold in every aisle. The aisles are sometimes blocked with staff shelving during peak hours? Why would you want to do that? Trading hours are great though . Well stocked but definitely needs to be refurbished.
good for shoppi g groceries. quite cheap. great variety.
not massive, but its easy to walk around and not super busy so its the best super market around us...
Staff are helpful and friendly. Time waiting at the checkout is minimal in comparison with other stores. Fruit and vegetables I buy elsewhere.
This supermarket has a monopoly on grocery and fruit & veg shopping in Concord and it shows. There is always a shortage of stock and the shelves are in disarray. At least today, there were freshly baked rolls and I was able to get a chicken straight out of the oven - the others had been sitting there for 4 hours. Parking was unusually available today and there were enough trolleys. More often than not my shopping experience here leaves much to be desired.
This is a great Coles. Always easy to park downstairs and I have always been able to find what I'm looking for!
Very convenient for people living in woodcroft, Doonside. Timings are awesome 6am-12 am, very convenient for early morning risers and night owls.
Bakery, fruit and deli departments usually well-stocked throughout the day. If its a busy day sometimes the BBQ chooks are in high demand. Good variety of grocery items; has more range than some of the other supermarkets nearby.
The most frustrating thing about this store is the layout of their milk and food fridges - they almost form a perimeter around the store, so if you want several different things, you have to walk from one end of the store to the other. But that's a small price to pay - service from the team at this store is always great.
Coles Woodcroft is one of the most expensive in this area , their checkout service is hopeless, their Self service checkouts don't open till after 8am, i only use it for small purchases , Westpoint for weekly grocery shopping !
It's a small centre but covers almost all kind of shops.
trading hours: 6am-12am
however i got there at 10 and it was already closed. please fix up the trading hours or advertise that you will be closing early because of easter.
best haricut shop ive ever been to
Great place to shop! It gets crowded over the weekend
Worst place to buy cigarette!
The cashier on the tobacco register works on 2 different registers, one for people's shopping and the 2nd one for cigarette!
No wonder if you wait for 5 minutes to get a pack of cigarettes! What a stupid management there
Store layout is great. Customer service is fantastic too.
We had to pick up a few groceries on Anzac Day and the place was a mess! Poorly organised, shelves messy and quite dirty in general. Thankfully this is not my regular store, otherwise I would shop elsewhere.
Decent, regular Coles supermarket. Good enough for most daily needs. The fruits and vegetables selection is a bit limited. Expect a few stock out situations on non-food items. Relatively helpful checkout staff. Fairly busy location.
Just your average Coles supermarket with all your usual needs however the fruit and veggie section is quite small. Stays open late though which is very handy for late workers.
Parking is a nightmare so if you buy heaps and need to push the trolley all the way to the car, it would be your cardio session for the day! This Coles is always busy and has some blind spots for mobile phone reception. Pretty clean and tidy here, you just need to get thru 'human congestion' here.
Good price and high quality products in comparison with Woolworth and IGA
Typical Coles. Above average deli counter and a good range of baked goods (but not exactly Bakers Delight). Seem to stock clothes now too. Getting closer and closer to British supermarkets.
Meat and fruit /veg selection is limited and not very fresh and seems like idiots shop here and they walk aimlessly on their mobiles. Staff seem very condescending or simply hate their jobs. I drive to Macquarie Centre in the early morning to avoid this place specifically.
Good range, big store.
Can get quite busy around midday.
Poor service, some staff are rude... Prefer visit the one in Westfield
Great customer service from the security and a variety of items that alot of other shops don't have.
Large store with lots of variety.
Slow lifts. Wheelchair access from Spring St only.
Only 1 hour free parking be prepared and takes a while to get out.
Workers are bad people did not help me these workers earn easy money without helping customers buy my Christmas dinner 200 dollars in meat alone chicken when I left to take a taxi I did not go outside taxi wait for 30 minutes and nothing of a taxi between To the store talk to the manayer to help me because the food could be damaged the manayer never appeared and the workers of the cigarette shop just looked at me now I have 200 dollars in food dallada the fish the meat many thanks for the good service From today I will change store
Easy for quick shopping. Accessible by ramp off ebley Street. Not as much stock as Bondi Junction
Rude staff. Don't expect a polite response when you ask which isle a product is.
Good large Coles, but the fridges are so noisy in this shop. Sometimes it sounds like there is an aeroplane taxiing in the aisles ready for take-off.
Big store with lots of options and has specials on most needed items
Good specials. Good service, but get in early for a parking spot, its bedlam for car spaces
Conveniently located. Staff is very professional, not happy with prices though.
Excellent store. Right size for our neighborhood and have everything we may need.
Staff need training on how to pack, putting all heavy items in one bag is NOT good ''weight distribution''which Coles sadly fail at no matter where you go!
Good selection, frequently has good sales. Staff are usually polite and helpful.
This Coles store has closed permanently. For good. For ever. The cheapskates who shop at Aldi but take a trolley from the Coles trolley bay will now have to find alternative arrangements, such as forking out for an Aldi trolley token or, heaven forbid, actually return their trolley to the Aldi bay to get their $1 coin back.
I love this Coles and it is sad that today the 12 September is the last trading day,I have shopped there for 20years
Nice Coles to shop in.
Go to woolworths in the Plaza instead. Coles here has minimal staff and no self serve. Expect long waits and no assistance.
The worst coles ever. 2 staff on counters only ALL THE TIME, have to wait 10 minutes to buy anything from customer service counter, rarely have anything I ask for in stock. Cant wait till they shut the doors.
I'd rather not say something bad, but it has to be said, they never have more then two checkouts running and it can be real frustrating
They're trying their best.
Standard coles. No bad experiences.
I have 2 incidents with Coles Supermarket at Seven Hills, My name is Sally Burns and I love to Shop at Seven Hills Shopping because of a very convenient to Shop, the Parking is great and the Stores are just very good for money, I do recommend this Shop all the time, but, sometimes, encountering some services that makes you really disappointed, the first one when I enter Coles, they have this small trolley for less groceries to buy, and there is a big one also, i asked the trolley collector if I could have one of those trolley, yup, but you must to insert a dollar or 2 dollars coin, so I did it, when I finished shopping, went to car park and unload my groceries then return to a trolley bay, the problem is , there is no available key to get your coin back, and you have to return hetrolley all the way to Coles and return it coz the only way you can get your coin back, I don't understand why is the Coles trolley with coins system are like that, i told the trolley guy that doing that is a time waster for shoppers plus anger and disappointment.
the second incidents is. . busy shopping and look around, and then finished the groceries then decided to go for check out, i got at least nearly 200 dollars worth of groceries, i honestly got a mistake that i am in the 15 items less check out counter, and never even look, never even think, just line up and at the end, pay my groceries, there is a guy looks like more than 15 items also who is ahead of me, then i was next to be serve, then a lady who is behind me holding a 1 item to pay only, i told her to go ahead of me because she have only one item to pay, not still didn't think I am in a less 15 items check out, the woman who is the counter register is an Indian Nationality, and when it's my turn to serve, she said to me, "Do you know this is 15 items less Check out only" and I reply to her, oh! so sorry, I didn't know, I honestly didn't know, . . .then her response is this "Well, sorry, I have to serve first these people who are behind you with less items of yours" and guest what how many people are behind me on queue, at least 5 people, which they are not there when i was lining up,only i just saw one person that i let her to go ahead with 1 item only to pay, and I feel like that she intentionally embarrassed me in front of all these people and the way she say it is not even with a polite way, she saw me from the beginning when I putting my groceries on the conveyor counter that I have ore than 15 items, but osunding like she is waiting for me and told me off intentionally that the counter is for less 15 items only, If Coles surveillance camera have to rewind this incidents, 23rd of August, Sunday between 11.20 to 11.45 am. . . they can see that i am not pretending because i want to be serve first or serve fast, it's an honest mistake not even realize that i'm in a speedy check out. . .I really burst my Anger and returns all my groceries back to my trolley and keep telling her that I really don't think it is a different check out, but no, she needs to say something to make you angry,
Sharon is the name of the Manager, she assisted me to pay all the groceries and she told me she saw everything what happened, she will speak to that Indian woman and I really don't know if she will . . .but . .people in the check out counter, please, there is a way to say a word in a nice rather than creating arguments with your customers, I told Sharon that she is not polite, and I told Sharon it's an honest mistake, if she told me I am on the wrong counter from the first place, sh will stop me not to put my groceries on the conveyor and I can move to another counter, and people will going to do it, but, if the customer is ready to serve, say it politely and customer will do apologise for the mistakes they have done, but STOP EMBARRASSING your customer . . .I hope she get a word from you Sharon. . . Seven Hills Coles. . .
Never too busy, wheel chair ramp & lift. Full Coles supermarket size. Not the best deli-bar or fresh vege sections.
Always seem to be stocked up well. Service is great and night shift staff are friendly. Its a good store this one.
staff have good knowledge. love the special and stocks the Quorn products which is a vegetarians bestfriend and can be hard to source
Love this store. It's not your usual Coles, more like a country store
Actually good to have a supermarket right there when i'm coming home from work!
Easy parking try the pastry and try the pizza at the same address
Friendly and helpful staff. Store was clean and tidy. Shelves were well stocked.
Fantastic place staff are so beautiful and caring always smiling been going to it since it's been open, would never go to any other coles store Smithfield always😍
Quiet- good place to shop to avoid human traffic. Has a lot of sales so ends up being cheaper than other stores.
Wide range to choose from, quite relaxed atmosphere, but with higher prices these are things that you definitely pay for.
Nice staff. Lift is slow to get back down (to the parking lot) and the other option is the big run way which is bit unsafe for them dumb parents who make their kids push the trolley
Nice and quiet shopping, no shopping trolley nudges and plenty of parkig.
A fabbo little Coles. Hidden away (the locals didn't want it at first). Parking can be tight for bigger cars
Has everything that i need when i'm doing grocery shopping.
Too small, unless you're just picking up a couple of things for dinner you're better off going to Mortdale Woolies
Good place for shopping and very helpful and friendly service staff..
It's Coles, saving grace is the friendly staff
Good parking, simple layout, not as large of a variety of products compared to larger Coles's
nice little supermarket, can get most grocery you may need
Got family member living in this area and personally like this not-so-busy supermarket. Small size one but yes definitely does the job and seems to be always clean and well-organised. Relaxing to shop here too so 100% no problems here!
Good size supermarket love the parking and direct access to the store plus good range of fresh fruit and veg plus grocery range. Not overly crowded so a relaxing way to shop.
Small Coles in Oatley West.
Good range and mostly friendly staff.
Excellent friendly helpful staff
Great variety and affordable prices
Very affordable, fresh food and good service ☺☺☺
Hate the fact they force everyone to go to self checkout. I don't get paid to do self check out. So many times I have left a full trolley of groceries behind. Don't think I will be going back any time soon.
Good range, and okay prices. Friendly service and convenient parking.
Pretty standard super market. Never enough staff at the check outs though.
Probably one of the worse Coles in Sydney! Small, little light, overall not a great experience.
Coles Edgecliff is surely one of the best supermarkets in the Eastern Suburbs. Excellent fruit and vegetable selection, 1st rate dairy and condiments, good range of frozen foods, great deli section. Ticks all the boxes.
If your store opens at 7:00am then why not allow your staff to prepare stuff before then. Yesterday I had to abandon my order at the deli for fear that the woman might hit me if I asked for anymore stuff. She was so angry that there was nothing out and a bloody customer was slowing her down. Luckily for you Woolies is not much better but I will certainly be going there next week. Bad customer experience!
THEY SELL ROOT BEER!!!!! Attention North American travellers, your cravings have finally been answered. This Coles has bonafide, real A&W rootbeer. Not sarsaparilla, but real rootbeer!!! They are tucked away on a bottom shelf (same aisle as dried ramen but farther down) sold as individual cans. After nearly a year without the one soft drink I actually enjoy I am in HEAVEN right now!!! To all my Aussie shopper friends this probably isn't particularly helpful or important to you but I guarantee Coles having this stock will make soooo many Canadians and Americans happy. Thank you, thank you for a taste of home!!!
The meat was off and smelled terrible apparently it takes a few days in heated trucks and if those freezers break down on the way the meat can go rancid. Got my money back but i will never go there again.
Seriously pitiful store. Fruit and vegetables are often poor quality or under-stocked. Very limited fresh meat selection. Twice in the past 6 months there have been NO trolleys. I sometimes go to the Leichhardt or Broadway store and the difference is huge. Needs to change.
Reasonable store but poor product range and they have some issues with freshness in the meat department.
Vast place to shop groceries
Large spacious center. Always fresh fruit and veggies and a great deli section.
I like Coles as a supermarket in general and is my preferred shopping supermarket. However whenever I have shopped at this Coles branch compared to burwood branch, the Ashfield Coles rarely ever have Coles brand Free range Eggs restocked during the day.
Another common restocking issue is Coles Milk Powder.
Aisles towards the back of the store are blocked off by restocking carts where it isn't being actioned in considerable time.
Although Ashfield mall has all supermarkets under one roof, I am not benefiting from Coles rewards points as I have to end up splitting my shopping between Ashfield and burwood Coles.
Of all the Coles stores I've been to in Sydney, this has the worst quality and range of fresh produce.
Alwsys happy with products and ESPECIALLY the staff and their friendly manner..
Used self checkout to save Coles on wages. Was treated like a shoplifter as the woman stood right behind me watching over my shoulder checking that I correctly scanned every item.
Note to self, Don't use the self checkout in the future. Use the manned checkouts and then Coles will have to spend more money on staff wages.
The butcher and fruit shop just outside Cole's make it so convenient, let alone the tongli super market nearly.
Poor checkout machine. Took a long time. Needed assistance twice.
This is a large store. Much better than Seven Hills and Baulkham Hills stores.
I much prefer to shop at Coles. Better range and prices
Our online orders are dispatched from here and they need to pull their finger out, we have had orders that where cancelled arrive and orders that were placed not arrive. Items constantly missing, last week the drivers load toppled inside his truck and our milk, fruit, veg and bread where all damaged.
Today an order did not arrive and was left inside their building as click and collect, they dispatched it at 11pm really late only to have 2/3 of the items not delivered.
Not a bad place to shop, some of the sales assistants do have chip on their shoulders though.
The location of frozen items should be towards the exit of the store not the entrance, so cold items stay cold for max time. one needs to go forward and then back before check out
Fairly large store with a decent range. Easy access. Lots of parking
one of best Coles stores in Sydney. Sometimes it gets very busy and service gets slow. overall you we can find almost everything for our grocery .
Everything is new. You can get fresh rolls, bread etc, as opposed to the shelf items. One of the best Coles I've been in.
No junkies or staff leaning over my shoulder, as opposed to the Coles down the street.
A wider range than any nearby supermarket. Quick service. Mostly free parking. Free wifi
Great supermarket in westfield. Good selection and an awesome cheese room.
One of the Best Store in Australia. Product availability and overall presentation is outstanding!
Where I shop. I have switched to a fruit & veg market in Eastlakes because of price and quality considerations. Tried to get a specific meat product, and had to go to a supervisor to even get the SKU number as butcher totally uncooperative.
Not worthy of the 1 star. Visited the store today,as i always do. Walked around ro 15mins looking for a worker. NO STAFF ON THE FLOOR WHAT SO EVER, counted 6 shelves that were empty nothing at al'll on the. Empty stock trolleys all over the store. They had 3 open registers the 1 i approached happed to break down while a customers goods were on them. They didnt ask him if he needed help reloading his trolley, they demanded he use self serve. No wonder they're losing their jobs to robots.I asked the rude man to call a stock check on the coca cola as the shelves were bare. witch he refused to, he said all we have is on the shelf. I said do u know that for sure or are u just saying that. He didnt reply. I said get me ur manager i want to talk to them. I waited for 1 minute then i said to myself u know what stuff them. I was extremely dissapointed and i left my trolley with all my goods in it and walked out. They dont deserve my money. Rude pathetic unworthy of their roles.
Fruit and veg department is always old and rotten ! Meat department is always sold out and no variety. Worst coles in sydney
It was great service thank you
Good luck getting a trolley even harder returning it
Everything is good quality, fresh and always lots of discount.
They are making Shopping trolley availability hard.
Small, dirty, under staffed, what is not to like about this coles..... besides everything.
Small store and haven't got as many products as the other stores. Not very friendly staff either. Parking is usually easy to find.
Efficient friendly staff
Easy to get to, close at 10pm and liquor store. Parking is a problem during the day.
Got some good sales on icecream
Love their new 40% extra ultimate chocolate chip cookies in the bakery section although the bakery that sends them their batches over cooks them these new cookies should be soft in the centre.. Sometimes the ones sold here are rock hard... The bakery should take them out of the oven heat earlier & not brown them as much..
Staff are so busy that sometimes don't have time to stop for you when you are looking for a food item.. Probably due to being understaffed.. They need to put a person that always stays near the admin/price check/refund area in the front middle section of the store where their catalogues are located.. Sometime I wait a long time before someone notices I'm standing there if that area is unattended or if register staff are busy.. Also
dislike how the stores trolley wheels lock after pushing them past the car park entry... If trying to get to your car which is parked just on the side street with a full trolley load & wheels lock on you.. You will have a darn difficult time unloading the bags going back & forth to the middle of the carpark entry where the trolley locks & refuses to budge blocking the entry or exits to the driveway.. Funny watching mothers with children having the same problem & the poor grannies struggling with their locked wheel trolleys unaware of what had just happened thinking their trolley is broken.. Should allow the trolleys to travel at least to the side streets of the fairfield forum.. Up to the traffic lights on the same street etc I'm sure the trolleys won't run away.. I'm sure it won't be to hard for the trolley boys to pick them up from that distance after all its still within the same street & walking distance of Coles & the forum shopping centre.. As they usually have to drive their trolley Utes up to the lights to come back to the forum shopping centre anyway.. After an experience like that makes you want to shop else where..
The store is ok but the staff are terrible, very rude and disgusting manner! Specially the ones at self service, If it wasn’t the only shop close to me never would have gone there again! The manager should consider that and teach their staff to show some respect to the customers, at least to ones who respect them!!👎🏼
don't shop there often , but when I had to put a lot of dog food in my car and had other stuff in my trolley I told the staff I'll be back in a min . when I came back after about 10 mins this staff member had put all my shopping back had to run around and get it all again ....not happy
A large Coles store which opens until midnight and is easy to get to.
An average experience exactly what to expect from a shopping center, pricing was correct for everything accept one but hey its human error only ignorant people wouldnt understand that everyone makes mistakes will be back again.
It's so horrible that big companies have now started cheating in prices which is not good I bought some mandarins which were $2.50Kg and they charged me $3.90kg which I noticed after coming back home even 1 single penny counts up here when you work so hard and they cheat you like this, it's really disgusting, have some generosity.😡
STORE: 908- CS CASULA
STORE MANAGER: MATTHEW
SERVED BY: LIA
WAKE UP SLEEPY HEADS.
Have been a regular shopper for over a decade. Great store, friendly staff. With the new renovations its a lot nicer too.
third time price check wrong, paid full two times already this time i asked to check i waited 10 minutes enough time to think and write a review
Clean and stocked shelves
Great prices great staff
Convenient, helpful staff but Woolworths is cheaper. Also, Coles has this odd orange lighting. I like warm lighting but it was literally orange. I felt much more relaxed in Woolworths.
Fair pricing good service n reliability 2nd to none
Prices aren't great compared to Woolies/ALDI but it's there if you need it. No LL
Plenty of parking. Store is always neat and well stocked
Friendly staff but in newscaster facelift. The exterior I'd old and drab. I continue to go for convenience.
Overall not to bad service is helpful & friendly but not enough checkouts open. They try push you through the self service checkouts which I don't use,it costs people jobs.
Good parking, easy access, good shopping hours.
It's the only calls I would do my shopping in for value in the Camden area
Good friendly food shop and super easy carpark
This Coles, despite some work, still feels ... Old. But it has my favourite fudge, that it seems no other Coles has. Yay!
Ok same as other coles
Has things but not as much as woolies.
Doing The Burg proud. I remember the old days of no big supermarket. Not so in this modern age.
Good selection. Best in the area for a long distance
Not the hero Helensburgh deserves, but the hero it needs. It means you hardly have to leave, especially when the bakery had 80% off something delicious. The ramps to the parking are a pain though, so i usually try to get a park on Walker St (good luck)
Generally good for a country Coles
Small but convenient
Good for most of your grocery needs and very conveniently open late at night.
Good service, well stocked, clean
Nice looking Coles with a great range of actual fresh products! The deli is amazing, especially for a Coles.
large range with a simple layout, makes shopping a breeze
Very big and has all the stuff you would want
New Coles is great. Parking easy , store is huge. Has most things that other Coles have.Have mostly shopped in evenings and aisles are wide so restocking does not interfere with shoppers.
Disgusting customer service. Employees like Daniel and an ugly mutt who has brown hair who was packing home deliveries on the 1st of November at 4pm. You know who u r. i am too disgusted to mention her name. Discipline ur workers Coles or ur customers will!!
Good store to get all groceries you need. Will be moving soon to new part of Narellan mall.
Got a good bakery. Some international foods available too
Beware and boycott this organisation…shame on you… thoroughly disgusted…
My mother (82 years old frail , ill with limited English) was badly treated at their Blacktown WestPoint store.
Their checkout people are dishonest and prey on the elderly and the disadvantage by trying to rip them off with incorrect change.
On the 25th August 2017 at the Blacktown store , my mother presented their checkout person with 100 dollars to which she knowingly tried to short change her. After a long wait while this checkout person continually ignored my mother’s complaint. The manager reluctantly intervene to which the surveillance tape was viewed and proven that my mother was correct and their checkout person knowingly tried to deceive my mother.
A frail elderly person should NOT be subjected to this stress and mistreatment …thoroughly disgusted
It's always too busy with not enough checkouts open. The self serve always has a line too.
Helping staff . Excellent customer service. Far better than Woolworths
Opened late only one check out operator no self service open had customers cueing as the check out operator was serving someone with 2 full trollies ... not cool as everybody else waiting were frustrated because we all had buses to catch .... and coles staff oblivious to thier customers needs by not opening another check out ... not a good look !!! Left my selection of goods behind with that one operator and walked out woithout any lunch .....
WHENEVER I BUY ADVERTISED SPECIAL THEY OVERCHARGE. YESTERDAY I BOUGHT ADVERTISED SPECIAL 3 MANGOS FOR $5, GOT CHARGED $6. I BELIEVE THEY DO IT DELIBERATELY
Range of stock superior to the opposition and prices good. Assisted checkout excellent.
I Good Did not have lop price of swimm I ng pool chloronator blue in colour on the computer. Please correct this
...about 8dollars.0
First world problem but there were no trollies or even baskets....made my weekly shop very inconvenient.
Decent, average Coles. Rib eye steaks are thick and flat. Meat prices are better than woolies. Tremendous!
The system at self-checkouts received an upgrade. The purchase was split using 2 payments with gift cards. The first payment went through as it was a physical gift card. But the upgraded system does not allow manual input of gift card numbers and pins. We had no other payment methods available on us. Eventually the manager returned the paid amount but seemed irritated. Poor attitude and service exhibited from her. It seemed like it was our fault for using gift cards. Woolworths does not have the problem of e-gift cards. They allow manual inputs but the updated Coles system does not.
Recently the self serve check outs have been changed to give an error for not waiting until the light goes green, which usually takes a few seconds per item. Got three different errors in one transaction, and I had to wait for assistance each time. Woolworths around the corner has no issues.
Biggest and best, includes butcher, baker, candlestick maker as well as a fish monger, fresh pizza maker, cafe, crazy good delicatessen (better than most independents) and the staff really know their stuff.
A pretty well laid out Coles. I like how late they stay open and that they can be easily accessed out of hours from the rooftop carpark.
Nice place with lots of goods. Fresh pizza bases and grill chicken.
great store good range dont go at night the night fill people litterally smell a lot of the time and take up all the room so you cant access the shelvea
My favourite Coles. Huge selection of goods and friendly staff. Location is convenient.
Car park is bigger than Woolworths, so often easier to come here after work, even though I prefer to shop at Woolworths. Large store. Also has pick and mix selection of dried fruits and nuts.
We have purchased food items here occasionally. Its always the stop between us and my friends place. The last stop we picked up dinner. The lasagna was superb. Easy in and out. If I lived closer I would definitely shop here more often.
Pleasant store to visit. Organised well and cashier girl was lovely. Polite and chatty!
Big place. Trolley not good. Restricted use in some areas
Great store. Plenty of variety. Always quiet and always get a car park.
Never buy seafood here! No quality control for the product they put onto shelf. 80% of chance you buy a piece of fish or other seafood marked Fresh is thawed or gone bad. They compromise quality for price battle with wooly. I find Wooly is more reliable at this point.
Im sorry when at work i feel you should speak English when that is what the majority speak. Especially customers waiting while the staff finish their conversation, laughing, so i presume it was not related to work. I ended up walking away as it was clear they were not interested in helping with my query
I am so glad Coles is at westmead now as it is a lovely store and it is close to my home. I enjoy shopping there
This is a great Coles. Good customer service and a great manager. They need to have more normal registers open. It's hard to go through self serve with a trolley
The flower section needs more love! However good work on other areas!
Good place for all groceries.. usually open until late evening. The westmead one stays open until midnight I believe .
This is an average Coles. Parking can be tricky especially during busy times. Limited fresh produce selections.
It's relatively smaller compared to other Coles with very arrogant staff, what's new with Wesfarmers, their customer service has always been below par. Do something about it Goyder!
Staff is not that great. Expect long queues many times during weekend. Availability is just ok as for a2 milk, basa fillets frozen I have to go to Woolworths many times as it was not available here.
Love coles Wenty..very convinient
Its open till 12am midnight and has everything that coles offers everywhere. I have never run into out of stock situation in this one. There is free parking upto 2hrs aswell
Closes sooner than some other Coles around the area (like the one in Stanhope which closes at 12 Midnight) but it's still good. 5 Stars.
Easy parking and clean Coles supermarket.
The store is easy to locate, the staff are friendly and it's one of the only coles stores in the area that stays open until midnight (excluding Sunday).
Good range of products and convenient hours
This supermarket just saved my lifeline - Wallet! !!
I left my wallet in the trolley and drove home; didn't realise I was missing it until I reached home.... When the Panic and screaming kicked in, I called them to see if they got it as it was in their trolley. I called them and they gave me the best news and they have it when someone *a family* gave it to to them. Bless that family ☺
Really happy customer 😄😄😄
Best Coles store in district
Has parking, near bus stand, big and never out of stock. Best part of that they have started selling Asian vegetables and groceries.
Pretty good store, although there were quite a few out of stocks at 7pm on a Tuesday night.
Staff is very Rude and unprofessional. They definitely needs to learn how to behave infront of the customers.
Awesome ! Eggless Bread items needs to be improve. Very few options for vegeterian. Otherwise superb
Staff are friendly and do their best but there's clearly not enough being rostered on. Doesn't matter who the poor person on the service desk register is, they can't do two lines at once!
I dont go there enough to know layout. Always end up staff where to find items.
Not a problem the Staff are good. Bonus is pricing
The staff are friendly and its easy to navigate and find the product you want. Pretty happy with their service too
An older style Coles. The staff are friendly, has its own carpark with a zone to pick up/drop off people
Don't know why you put on website closing time is 12am, when you really close at 10th! Is it that hard to get someone to update your website!!
Bread is always late . When i ask for a particular bread they always have excuses why there running late. Hello just get bakers to start earlier
Worst customer service ever I had from a Manager, not from checkout operator. Maria, Manager there, has no sense of how to deal with deal with a customer. She even forced me to write on gift card which was supposed to have written by her. Overall quality of this Coles, lot worser compared to other. I think it's because of this Manager.
Great but late night shopping always has too many shelve arrangement.
One messy Coles, stuffs are all over the places, items are not replenished when empty. Used to love this Coles, but not lately as it's getting too crowded and too messy.
great service i received today by a great team member with a funny name tag Barry Allen aka the flash fast, reliable and very respectful
A bit busy but good collection.
Great Coles - special shoutout to Julie, the manager who was working the shift on 29th of Dec 2017 - we had lost our tomatoes in transit home, and we were greeted with GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE when I called about it - made my evening, thanks Julie!!!
Perfect store with all you need and very easy to locate, but they could add more Toys to the store to make it child friendly.
Good Coles, wide aisles, good wheelchair access and underground parking. Also has bathrooms nearby and it's own little centre with a handful of other shops. Staff are nice.
I have been there, and lits of halal certified products which I don't approve of. Tried to buy Maclean's toothpaste, not halal, could find only for sensitive teeth... Not happy.
Not good for a quick shop unless you know what you want. I now ask the butcher for specific cuts. If you cannot see something at the deli counter you want or don’t like the look of what you see, ask if they have it out the back. Same with the baker. My appreciation of this coles has increased enormously since I started to ‘ask’. The Centre has great parking, my wife and I both have disabilities, never a problem. Facilities are clean, if you find a problem, let them know.
Frustration comes at checkout where I don’t always want to self-serve if I have a big shop.
They will deliver, I feel the cost is to high.
Would love if they were a store which is linked to coles online, currently Richmond is the allocated store.
Coles does a great job. Place is always clean and efficiently provides pretty much everything one needs.
Parking is good always there's a spot. Products are usually available. Fast checkouts, helpful staff.
I was on holiday in Katoomba and I took an innocent photo of my friend and the woman at the checkout started to full on attack us for taking a photo. Really odd experience to remind us that we were in a rural area.
Relatively friendly staff, a reasonable "mid sized" supermarket stocking both brand name and budget options.
Quite a surprise to find Coles supermarket & variety store as ONE.
The store is an open plan not cluttered like some. The produce & groceries are displayed neatly, easy see & access.
Its a big open floor plan compared to most Coles supermarkets.
Easy and convenient....great range
I always like to shop at Coles. They never are going to put a price on the shelves and mark another one higher went you go to the cashier. I never saw them taking the chickens and meat to change the dates so you cannot reliese they are off until you get home.
I had very bad expiriences with some of the people working at the delicatesen Wollies Bonyrigjg. They scream on you don't put attention at what they are doing and treat the customers like if they would be there distracted them in each other conversation even if the supervisers are in front of them. No one has any control about that. I'm not want they y o put me a red carpet for me when I'm there but a little respect would be nice and helpful. At Coles I never have those problems. The staff there are always nice respectful and very helful. Today I visited Coles st Stocklands and I could enjoy my shoping and take aventege of many offers they have to help us.Thank you to them all. That's the way to keep the customers.
5 stars
When ever I call to say do you gise have this grosery the say no and hang up on me and when ever I go to check thay have that grosery:(
This coles always has all the items I need, their staff are friendly and there products are all fresh and well packaged.
Self checking system is old and full of errors. We have to call assisstant a lot of time to checking out to fix the system. The price shown on sale but the system didn’t recognise the sale and charged us original price. Disappointed with this shopping experience. They should keep their system up to date
All the kids from westfields ruin shopping anytime after 3pm
Easy to get to and very friendly staff
Usually use self service but today had too many items to use the self service so had to use attended register. I was surprised by how abrupt the staff member was when most are polite ,efficient and friendly . Also my bags were incorrectly packaged making it very hard for me to carry them
Its a good coles store with a bottleshop attached.
Always have what i want, helpful staff. The self check machines can be a bit dodgy but good otherwise
Please simplify the self serve register. It not user friendly. Whats "go to avo"?
Very quiet on at Saturday night but you have to dodge the packing trolley
A very convenient local supermarket in the Illawong Village Shopping Centre. Not a large Coles but the shelves are generally well stocked and they have great fresh produce. Good customer service.
A really well set out Coles. It's always clean, well stocked shelves and they have great fresh produce. This Coles is in a very convenient location in Southgate Sylvania Shopping Centre. The staff are friendly and provide great customer service.
Very large supermarket with a good range of fresh produce. Gets busy at certain times.
4th best coles in sydney. Very fresh broccoli
It's Coles, so you know what you're getting. The story recently underwent an overhaul, so it's their fresh approach
Average Coles. Better than Sutherland Coles, but still rather go to IGA though.
A good size supermarket that has become even better after the renovations. At it means not having to tangle with Westfield parking!
Good access. Shelves always full an good choices. Check out folk always helpfull an pack well an treat u with respect. Wish there was undercover parking though.
This store has improved a lot in recent months with renovations and a revamped feel in-store. Would be good to see a larger range of organic produce and meats.
I visited Coles Wattlegrove NSW on 18th June 2017 at around 8pm & found the customer service staff Gabriella was rude. No manners, doesn't want to speak non whites. She was speaking nicely to customer before me & then left to serve the help desk without intimation & back to me with 'NO sorry' or 'No Hello'.
Everything you need but no variety. Esp organic + healthy options.
First one star rating for the sake of the haters and the Wollies lovers
I'm a regular here 🙌
Nice and organized shelves..offers good customer service
A bit understaffed, usually only self serve open. You have to request to be served, which I have had to do several times as I have small children with me and a full trolley
Terrible Coles - staff are nice, but they variety is average and the quality is awful. The "fresh" meat and groceries have gone off by the time you get them home, and they barely stock any milk or bread.
A convenient place for a broad range of products at one place for us living at sutherland
Was better when it was Supabarn. Now has less selection, less staff and they've turned off half the lights in the carpark underneath.
Use Apple/Android Pay here with major card networks including Amex.
Very bad customer service, the staff Jess when we ask the voucher from her, she is very rude to us. We ask the police about the voucher, firstly she said come back in 10-15 mins, then she said I will not help you, I gonna finish soon. What the customer service. If we really come back, waste our time. Totally have no idea why the manager put her at the register. Still her working time, but so lazy and rude.
good selection of products but staff are rude and unhelpful. Make sure to check the date codes of products in freezers. Found a boxs of fish fingers that were out of date by three months
They've got my favourite apples Modí !!
Really bad looking fresh food.
This place is almost automated they have so few staff.
Good location and abundance of stock.. decent staff
A very good local market to buy almost any groceries you need.
This is my local market so have been here quite frequently since it opened. My rating mostly comes from it being the best supermarket in North Sydney. It is a bit on the smaller side so sometimes they don't have an ingredient or two but has the staples. They do have a few quick lunch options if you work in the area and need a quick sandwich or something.
L went to coles supermarket and found all the thing l needed bread milk and always fresh produce there you should visit and do your shopping
Love this Cokes, helpful and friendly staff and it's never too busy.
Very good coles and not to busy
That Coral lady needs to be moved. She is rude to the staff (very unprofessional) and rude with customers.. No way she should be working in customer service. She is a very angry person. I heard another customer try to be nice to her and he even said, im not trying anymore. RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!
This Coles is a joke two hours after they open and they only have one register Open. Self sever is closed for some reason when it only take one employee to look after that area. The last time I was here (my first time in the store) same thing happens and same as today there was 2-3 customers with trolley loads of shopping, self serve closed and one register only. Both time I was gonna buy water and few other things, because I am going hiking and needed to be out in a hurry. Both times I put everything back and your shopping market did not get a sale from me as the check out was ridiculous. Both times I had to run over to the station and buy water just getting back in time to get my bus. I am also annoyed because I been up all night and was looking forward to some ice coffee but no, can't even get that! 😤
Bakery could be a little better but the store is always clean and orderly.
Might want to put a more patient staff member on the self check out. Just had my head snapped off and then heard her do the same to 2 other customers. Typically her name badge was nowhere to be seen. The wait at the information desk was ridiculously long that I gave up.
Great parking, easier to shop at than other supermarkets in the area. New and has a good feel to it. Also has self serve checkouts.
Never has enough staff on the checkouts, which forces nearly everybody from people just buying one item to others with entire trolleys full into the cramped self-serve checkout area. I can't stand it when self-serve checkouts aren't managed properly.
A very good Coles supermarket. Always well stocked, clean and well presented.
Lots of cheap things and tasty products
Don't dare go on the weekends before 4pm. This place in general is nutz traffic wise. Coles is good apart from the constant shelf stackers in mah goddam way. Farq braj. Good specials and fresh fruit generally so I recommend this place but take a slapper-clapper to move the staff stacking. Noice opening hours until 10pm.
Rude express check out customer service, treating people like criminals, they should sack the tall fat female guard dog with short hair style ...She is the rudest thug they ever hired, shame on you Coles!!!
Today my mother, my little baby and I went to Westfield Hurstville Coles to do our NORMAL shopping, but at the self checkout we were stopped by a very unfriendly tall fat female "guard dog" appointed by an Asian "female guard dog" who were literally behind me the whole time while I checked out. The tall fat "guard dog" stopped me in a very unfriendly fashion and demanded why there were 2 items not in the plastic bags (3kg oranges already in a net bag and a 1L long life soy milk). Honestly whats that got to do with stealing things? I just saved you some plastic bags!!!She then accused me I stole the two items and so she need to check everything.... I MEAN REALLY!!?? She checked every items we bought in the trolley over and over again and seems really unhappy that we didn't steal from you Hurstville westfield Coles...
Fair enough to check according to your policy but the treatment I got from the two, later became three guard dogs was very unkind (finger pointing at my face, over powering voice and racism) I was told to speak English (pardon me for speaking the only language I communicate to her aka CHINESE to explain the situation to my mum, she literally stunned by this whole ordeal and was also furious). I can't believe that sad fat tall "guard dog" told us that we are band from shopping there (maybe Coles is owned by her?) great looks like I had to return everything we bought back to you Westfield Hurstville Coles
@Westfield Hurstville Coles you should really put someone who can do customer services not hiring some tall fat guard dogs to pick on female customers with babies in their hands to make a scene to scare off the actual shoplifters.
I have been very disappointed lately with the fresh produce most of them are no longer fresh when you buy them, most of the time my fresh fruit vegetable go into the bin is not fair😞😞😞😡
Fresh foods are not stocked up regularly and does not look fresh (so diff compared to bondi junction one). Some of Grocery shelves are empty as well. Checkouts move very slowly because of the 12 items or less on the self checkout.
Always doing my Weekend shopping there, must say it's pretty well managed shop, highly recommended.
Coles pushed everyone to use the self check out , to try and save money , now they treat all their customers like crooks , asking everyone to show their receipts when they use the self check out . Very Rude customer service and very slow. Suggest you go to Woolworth's which is very close by , there you are treated properly as a customer , polite , helpful and friendly.
The worst COLES in History, the F****n Sl*t manager doesn't educate her staff who are very rude.
Look out for the Nazi old burgundy hair lady at self serve who harasses all the Asians (I'm European) & find it quite harassing of her as they are human too.
F**k you Coles 👎. 🖕
A dedicated hard working team, who endeavor to make your shopping experience as easy as possible
Good for general groceries but not the meats especially the chicken I've bought from there the last few times was off so I buy all my meats from Woolies
Undercover parking good variety
Best value and fast service
Love it
Great place to do your groceries shopping each week, as parking is very close indeed, and not crowded with shoppers.
Not a bad Coles, more of a smaller Coles than say, Liverpool but still nice.
A bit tired as a shopping centre, but one of the cheapest Coles around
Nice clean store friendly staff
I give a 5 star due to the lovely staff, the fact I never wait in queues and the fresh products are always of good quality. The only downside for this store is that this is a small Coles in terms of sizes of other Coles stores and as such doesn't stock the entire range that a larger Coles would stock.
