Compita is a Latin term for crossroads. The concept is multilayered and reflects the location and concepts of our core business. We are located in Bungendore NSW where the Kings Highway meets, creating a crossroads for commuters. In 1838 a lock-up was built and the Harp Inn (now the Lake George Hotel) was established. At this time the settlement became an important crossroads connecting Goulburn, Braidwood, Queanbeyan and Cooma. On June 17 1940, Bungendore Station became a junction station when the Captains Flat line opened, branching from the Bombala line five kilometres south of the station. Clients come to Compita Consulting when they have arrived at a crossroads on Work Health and Safety (WHS) matters and need guidance, support and direction to make a step in the right direction. Compita Consulting is a small to medium enterprise (SME) with experience in both Public and Private sectors. We provide WHS support services to the Department of Defence, specifically, to the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) business units or System Program Offices (SPOs). This work is performed through contracts managed under an Integrated Work Package (IWP) awarded to Major Service Provider (MSP), Team Nova. Compita Consulting provides SPOs with the ability to manage their WHS obligations throughout the Capability Life Cycle. These services include; WHS compliance auditing, risk management, workplace assessments, hazardous chemical management, developing WHS policies and procedures and ensuring conformance with the CASG safety management system (CASsafe). Our brand represents this personal history, as well as momentum, compliance and our contemporary approach. The crossroads is found in the negative space of the four ticks within our logo. These ticks represent compliance, safety, quality and trust. Our brand colours include vibrant shades of blue and green, which reflect our core values; quality, integrity and professionalism.
