Really disappointed! I had come here years ago, and found products fresh & tasty but since moving to the area, and visiting numerous times, am so disappointed. Trade seems to be largely reliant on tourists & elderly locals who can't walk further. Yes the shop is dated & the lino behind the counter is definetly violating health codes, but Tourist prices? One shop assistant who recognised me after a succession of visits seemed to give local prices, but alas on weekends & with staff who didn't know me still reverted to the more expensive prices. If the sausage rolls were not just about the pastry or the coffee was good. I might have been less harsh but I will not return and hope others will boycott due to "tourist prices". Disappointing : (

Delicious pastries. I also love the large pretzels.

Food great. Austrian bake items with great coffee. Only downside is cash only.
Been back after Christmas! They now have efpos!! Great move!

A nice range oc food options let down by inconsistent and "attitude" service.

We visited this place every time we travel to Sydney. The rye bread, the cherry pies, the goulash soup is superb!

Great selection of cakes and slices. Superb chocolate mud cake made to order. One star less than 5 given for accepting cash only, with the nearest ATM in a supermarket down the road that charges a $3 transaction fee..

Great bread and baked goods. Proper German style. Coffee could be better, and a little on the pricey side. Taking cash only.

Gorgeous cherry strudel slice, amazing looking cakes in the display. Great coffee and lovely fresh bread. Enjoyed our time here immensely and would definitely come back.
