Consulate General Of The Philippines

I have read a lot of bad feed back about the consulate in regards to trying to call them. I called yesterday from Melbourne and left a message along with my contact number and late in the afternoon my call was returned by a very polite gentleman who helped me with all my enquires.Please just be patient..

Came in early and ready (with original/photocopies of requirements) to apply for passport renewal. Verification and payment to the cashier was quick. However, taking of passport photo took long as expected (more than an hour). Why they just don’t accept passport photo taken no more than six (6) months and that met the photo requirements for the application? Also, they should consider accepting credit cards as payments and not just “Cash only”.

why do you have a phone when no one even answer it? I just wanted to have all the papers before i even go there. Not a good idea not to answer the calls. I wont even give a one star

Tried calling several times and left voicemails to call back but never heard from the embassy. In the end I decided to personally visit the embassy and voila, they are closed!!

Fast application process (passport renewal).. Done in less than 30mins (all my requirements were ready, Original Passport, passport photocopy of front and back, Visa copy, $108 cash, then application form that i got from there)

Worst service ever😬.It didn't even deserve a star. It took me 3 hours just to get a report of marriage and renewal of my passport. There's only 3 staff working and one of them is tending for 2 window back and forth. And why why why do they have to ask their co workers everytime they took a picture of the customer can't you decide it for your self? didn't you know the rules?!It feels like I'm back there in the Philippines except it's quicker there compare here..Need a lot of improvement. Make sure you have plenty of change coz you're gonna need it for the printer and a pen.

Went to the Phil Embassy today. On time, good service from the staff and was able to finish my business in no time. Good job!

Staff were friendly at the Sydney Philippine Consulate and helpful. However it should be noted that the hours are between 9am-1pm.

Also be sure to come with 4 photocopies of all in list of criteria (specifically speaking of passport renewal) as it's 20c per black and white page, 40c per colour page - A4. A3 costs $1 for black and white, while it's $2 for colour at the photocopier.
Ensure you come with lots of coins and $5 notes for swapping notes into coins if you didn't come with copies.

It should be noted it costed $153 to get a passport renewal. Can be paid in cash.

worst. ... .. the notary office only opens until 1pm eventhough it says in the website they are open until 5pm.

The contact number 92627377 is USELESS!
Tried to call for 3 consecutive days and no luck. Every time I call it is routed to a voice mail.

15 minutes for application on dual citizenship...well done but should have consulate in Brisbane too.for this, as we spend almost $650( accommodation & flights)just for 15minutes appointment. And have to go back for oath taking another $650??
