Consulate General Of The Republic Of Chile

The Consulate does not answer emails and are useless, when you finally are able to speak to some-one. Also I would never fly with Latam Airlines again. They are worse and you can only talk to some-one, if you phone Chile (or Peru) and speak to some-one, whom you cannot understand.

The two women behind the counter are incredibly rude and arrogant. Terrible customer service and bad attitudes

Unfortunately I've been there several times, each time the same old ladies treating people in a quite disrespectful, peevish and even agressive way. It's worse than going to a Registro Civil in Chile. I hope they replace them soon.

Horrible experience, worst service ever I don't even understand how they let that kind of people work in a consulate, I saw this ladies treating everyone like we were animals, if this is the treatment we receive only for wanting to renew our documents it's just ridiculous.

It is unfortunate that I still have to deal with the consulate, every year my mother has to send a letter to my brother in Chile so he can claim her pension; the letter was requested seven days ago, I rung today to find out why we have not received it yet only to encounter the rudest person on the phone whom advised"listen lady we have got a lot to do and we are short of staff I'll put you through to the person who does that document, the call was never put through all I've heard was the disconnected signal.All the years I have been dealing with the consulate is exactly the same, staff is rude and arrogante. I think that Chile is well represented in Australia, incompetence, rudness and burocracy at its best. One star rating is too generous.

I have always had courteous and efficient service at the Consulate.

Disgusting service, the ladies that work there are slow, arrogant, rude and stubborn to new technology. Advice; get new workers who are more flexible and have less of a god complexity haswell as a nicer personality.

I had heard horror stories about the service here and couldn't believe some of them but after experiencing it first hand I can honestly say this is the worst service I have ever had. Rude, petulant and with behaviour only to be described as child-like. I cannot imagine the Chilean government being too pleased with such representation in Australia. Word of advice, play nice because they seem to have a superiority complex. Woeful
