Cordony Hair

(edit ) I WENT HERE ON A VERY QUIET DAY- NOT BUSY - This is not the 1st time I have gone to Cordonny at the Mall but will be the last - please note this is NOT the only review I have done & have never given 5 stars to all different stores with the same name - When I see conflicting reviews, I tend to check if they have reviewed other shops / places - (end edit ) ----- I broke my wrist & needed my hair washed & dried. Decided a plait best & was quoted $65. I got it done and was happy. Rang to get it done again only to be told the girl doesn't work there anymore - so decided to go anyway. I have very long curly / frizzy hair and it was washed and the girl put blow dryer over my hair using her fingers to wave through my hair. This caused non stop knots. But my pain in my wrist made me want to just get this finished. She was not interested - at all - and did a single plait - with knots- in my hair. she showed me behind and I smiled- paid- tipped $5 and left. I got up the next day ( after sleeping sitting up- due to wrist pain ) to feel my hair still wet !!! - I looked in the mirror and half was hanging out and the top was a frizz. - It looked horrible so I rang the salon and told them my hair is still wet - I paid $65 to have it washed and dried - their response "ÄND?" ---- I said I thought they'd want to know it was a really bad job. - The response was silence - so I said Ok- thank you good bye and hung up. They have my phone number- as I had to give it to make the booking. Since then I have gone to the competition near Coles who have washed, dried, GHD my hair for $55 - TEN DOLLARS CHEAPER - AND IT IS DRIED ! - I will never - ever go back and cannot recommend this salon to anyone - they do not care and everything is too much trouble. Just combing my knots out would've been nice- instead she plaited my hair ( braid ) with knots included- wet knots - and knew it was a mess that I couldn't see and had the absolute audacity to charge me $65 - I would've been happy if my hair was dry - but to con me into thinking they'd washed and dried my hair --- when I had a broken wrist and was in constant pain - what they did was disgusting - and they should be ashamed of themselves.

I was quoted $65 for a simple semi all over colour (went from dark brown to black) Was then charged $110 and was done by an apprentice and part of my hair is still brown. Total bullshit?!

Requested the hairdresser to cut about 2 to 3 inches of my long hair so it'll end up about shoulder length. She said no, only 2cm she'll do and after 5 mins of effortless trimming she is done and send me off to the cashier. There was a long queue of customers so I think she just can't be bothered to do a good job and wanting to get through to the next one as quickly as she can. Very upset with the experience, this is not my first time in this hair saloon but it is just that particular hair dresser who didn't do a good job. Tips: don't go during the weekend if you can, it's like a sausage factory.

Nice to know they are experienced in their profession, including their customer service skills.
I will trust them with my hair, any time! I can leave the saloon happy and looking forward to coming back.
