Creative Tutoring believes in promoting success in students’ lives whilst empowering them with the skills to actively find the answers for themselves. No more “chalk and talk” style!
Our active /kinaesthetic approach to tutoring promotes students to be ‘hands on’ and ‘doing’ in the process of learning. Active involves drama, physical movement and manipulation of objects and even mindful meditation and yoga!
Why active /kinaesthetic? Applying a variety of multi-sensory techniques is imperative. There is no empirical evidence that children use only one sensory approach to learning. Thus, we give children opportunities to learn in a variety of ways such as through seeing, hearing, reading and writing and of course doing!
Success is essential to your child. A child must have the opportunity each day to experience success in their tasks they embark upon. Too often students can be left to feel helpless in a large classroom situation thus not having the confidence and ability to experience the joy of success one has when they accomplish a task.
