DON'T LISTEN TO THE KEYBOARD WARRIORS AND THERE FAKE REVIEWS!

Obviously Kath and Annette have clearly not written there reviews with the full intention of describing what is actually a beautiful and outstanding business. You have to give credit where credit is due and I cant stand others trying to tarnish an excellent business when I know first hand how hard it is to have a successful business on the South Coast of NSW. Firstly I did also book for the degustation with my wife and we thought that the food was delightful. Someone please tell me where you can get that sort of quality for $90 per head? You simply just cant.

As for Annette well you couldn't be further from the truth. The restaurant has a 180 degree view that overlooks the vines and mountains. It's simply impossible for the restaurant to be dark with no visible sunlight. I am sorry but my wife and I couldn't help but laugh at your exaggeration haha. Once again it is simply untrue, especially seeing as though it faces from memory the North, West and East, simple Geography 101, wow!.

The only disappointment that I have was that I missed out on most of the recent music festival that they had last weekend. I had to work all weekend and only caught up with my friends and family at 3pm on Sunday. I again have heard nothing but good news so PLEASE do not listen to these uneducated misinformed so called guests! I would not be surprised if it was a competitor or someone that knows of your competitors and is trying to bring you down. Keep your head up and continue on with all your positive attributes and qualities. Your staff deserve credit and I truly hope that my review puts these misleading reviews to bed. The restaurant was booked out for father's day, so we visited the day before for a tasting. We appreciate that staff were busy but we were hardly given the time of day. No list of wines to choose from. I tried one wine but walked after being studiously ignored as new people arrived and were served. Appearances are good but the reality was disappointing. Also the restaurant was half full but seemed very stark and noisy. First and last visit. The website would not let me post this review with no stars so you got one.

$90 ea degustation with matching wine so you would think it was an all inclusive evening. The matching wine was 1cm in your glass so as we were there for 4 hours and no one was driving 2 more bottles were purchased at $40 at bottle + champagne on arrival at $10 a glass. All meals were cold. Dinner and wine totalled $480 for 4 people. As we are frequent visitors to the winery and our dining partners are winery members we were more than shocked at the expense........never ever ever again

We had the best lunch... Pork belly & pear is incredible. Staff were lovely and enjoyed the beautiful view AND the wine was delish

DEGUSTATION...what a wonderful night. Eight delicious courses with well matched wines certainly made for a memorable evening. The portion sizes meant that we were able to savour each course from start to finish without feeling gluttonous. The matching wine servings meant that as designated driver I was able to enjoy the evening as much as my companions.
A true degustation which is what you would expect from a classy establishment like Crooked River Wines. Well done.

Go and do yourself a favor and book at their restaurant for lunch. Such a breathe taking view looking out to Saddleback Mountain. Lovely and green, grounds kept extremely well. Food was really nice, I had the vegetarian gnocchi and my husband had the beef. Huge variety of wines, including some sweet and dry, I prefer dry. Will come back in a months time with friends. Thank the manager for us, well worth the drive from Sydney.

Craft beer was pretty cool, looking forward to the alcoholic ginger beer on the June long weekend! Food was great, view spectacular, had to wait for a table cause we didn't book but that was expected. Worth while visiting the vineyard, we will be back.

Just wanted to say a big thankyou for going out of your way to help us when needed. It was pretty busy over the weekend and we didn't book a table for the restaurant yet Rachel did accommodate us. Bought 2 cases of wine and beer on the way out. Will see you guys for the winter wine festival in June. 2 out of 2 in my books!!!
