Community classes are special classes where local dancers share their knowledge and talent with the community on Sundays from 5-6PM. It's only $10 so come down and support your fellow dancers!
This week we have Clarissa teaching Girls Style with Heels!
About the dancer:... Hello everyone! I'm Clarissa and I'm privileged to be part of Waackazons, Sin City and Soulxpress and call them family.
I've been dancing since 2016 which is when I first moved to Sydney, prior to that I did attempt some random classes whilst growing up. So I would say this would be my third year of dancing. I first started with Girls Style and Waacking and after a year I ventured into trying other styles such Urban, Contemporary and Heels.
Throughout the past three years, I've been able to perform with Waackazons, choreograph and perform with Soulxpress and this year choreograph and perform with my Sin City girls.
I'm still in the midst of finding my style but in my choreographies, I like to incorporate anything I learnt along my dance journey. In addition, for class I'll be dancing in heels, so you're more than welcome to bring your heels and dance with me. 👠If not, normal shoes are fine too hahaha.
