Da Capo Music

Was here just today. A really great selection! Some fringe repertoire that one would not find elsewhere that is either out of print or not standard stuff.
However I did not find what I was looking for- no fault of the shop.
Some of the music is oddly sorted though. Why is excerpts from Mussorgskys opera Boris Godunov among the mostly oratorio section? This was confusing.
Maybe if I looked harder then I'd have found the Lorenzo Perosi's 'Il Giudizio Universale', but I think that was a lost cause. A database would help, however cataloging that huge and wonderful collection would be a mammoth task nearing impossible.

Great place for 2nd hand music books. Can spend some time here but there's a coffee shop downstairs to recover yourself

Great old fashioned

Superb selection, of sheet music plus great records, followed by excellent coffee.

Always has a fantastic selection, and the most oboe music I've seen outside the con library
