Dai'S Golden Crown

Told rudely to move seat in an empty resturant as the table was set for four.only 530 on a sunday and we were going to try the 7 course banquet so wanted the room .very rude

Ordered Prawns with fried rice, received 6 baby prawns in the rice. Called them n they argued I ordered fried rice and they hung up. Pitiful service won't be back. Feel like I was ripped off.

Not one good redeeming feature when it comes to the food. The service is nice and friendly but everyone was bland and lacked any flavour.

Been coming here for over 20 years, the kapitan chicken is something special

When we had dinner here, the restaurant was surprisingly packed (given its very drab and uninviting exterior) so service was very slow. It seems both the kitchen and front-of-house were understaffed. The crab with noodles was great - the juicy and fleshy morsels of crab were delicious. Unfortunately none of the other dishes matched the crab in quality. The vegies were disappointing, while the spicy, deep-fried chicken pieces were more bone than flesh. The seafood at Dai's is ok, but the rest of the experience wasn't good enough to make me want to come back often.

Absolutely love this place. Can't speak for the actual restaurant but it's my go to take away. When I order through menu log it has always been delivered within 30 minutes. Decent prices. The combination omelette is unbelievably good.

Gonden crown fried rice is my usual lunch which is very delicious if considering a fried rice
