The Dance of Life, established, owned and operated in Newcastle by Sonya Manzalini is the first and longest operating dance school of its kind in the Hunter region of NSW Australia. The School has been operating in Newcastle for 21 years since 1996.

Traditional and Earthy, Dance of Life is just that, celebrating women's dance of life!

Sonya Manzalini, owner, principal and artistic director of the company has developed a unique style encompassing the traditional belly dance styles from the gypsy tribes and cultures of the Middle East and North Africa. The are the fundamental styles that have set the foundations for all other forms of belly dance.
The Dance of Life focuses on these foundations and Sonya's teaching and choreography is based on sound dance technique, effective instruction and historical research.
