Our DS troupe teams had an awesome day today at Dynamic Song & Dance Festival Was so great to have a huge DS support team there cheering on every group! Love our community and team spirit!
⭐️ Sparklers - were so gorgeous for all of their very first eisteddfod so brave and so cute! 3rd place ⭐️ Pearls - love your new dance, you girls have improved so much since last year! 1st place ... ⭐️ Emeralds - love seeing you all up there shaking your thing, so much sass from such little girls! HIghly Commended ⭐️ Opals - your dances were so together today and you girls had amazing faces! 1st place ⭐️ Sapphires - loved seeing your contemp for the first time today, you guys looked awesome! 1st place & 2nd Place ⭐️ Gems - you girls have grown so much as dances! Love the intensity of your new contemp! 1st place ⭐️ Diamonds - what a huge improvement girls! So impressed with how hard you have been working! 1st place & highly commended ⭐️ Crystals - you girls danced beautifully today and so held your own against a lot of older girls! I love your fierce new jazz! 3rd place ⭐️ Stars - First time seeing Tesselate today! Was so proud! 1st place x 3 and highest scoring dance of the entire competition! ⭐️ Rubies - loved seeing the remake of Bey today, looked so strong! 2 x 1st places & 2nd place ⭐️ Fireworks - Bodylove still gets me every time! So much passion! 1st place
DS also won highest point score aggregate and highest individual scoring routine of the eisteddfod!

A huge congratulations to our main lady Amanda who took out the Business Person of the Year award at the Illawarra and South Coast Local Business Awards last night. We are so proud of her achievements and the amazing studio she has created at DS. Thank you also to all of our families in particular our students who make DS the place it is. I was so honoured to be able to walk up on stage and accept this award on Amanda's behalf last night! 💜

So proud of these girls 🙌🏻 they just performed in the most amazing show with @danceeditorial after a huge week of workshops! I know they have pushed themselves outside their comfort zones and grown as dancers during the week! Huge huge huge congrats to both Josie & Liv Willick who were recognised at the end of the night and awarded with a scholarship to a week long workshop in LA next year with @willdabeast__ ! Could not be more proud of you all 😘😘😘

⭐ SPIRIT NIGHT UPDATE ⭐
We are so thrilled to share with you that in total we raised $4387.38 for the Alannah & Madeline Foundation through our first ever DS Spirit Night!!!
A big congratulations and thankyou to everyone who came along to the night and joined in all the fun.

Amanda and the beautiful teachers at DS are just amazing, Olivia has come so far with her dancing since she started there and couldn't wait to start back this year. It's such a positive and encouraging enviroment.
