I absolutely loved photographing Gina and her family.

I just received this beautiful testimonial from a recent client.
During the phone calls leading up to the photoshoot Daniella created an easy forum to reflect on and discuss our family and its special relationships. This experience added to the anticipation of the photo shoot so we could approach it mindfully. Life is so busy and the every day takes over easily...it was really special to stop and take the time to think and reflect on our family's relationships and what we l...ove abut each other the most. It also gave Daniella the opportunity to discover what's special to our family and to look for opportunities to capture this in her photo shoot. The discovery phone calls before the photoshoot allowed us to get excited about the photo shoot and encapsulate a warmth that is always there but can get buried in the every day. It was special to remember what is so special about each member of our family and define this. The photoshoot was lots of fun for our kids. They didn't need to pose and sit still and smile. Daniella encouraged them to play and interact naturally and this resulted in some very special, natural shots with the children in their element. Their personalities were able to shine and this was captured. Seeing the photos presented in the Design Consultation only a few short hours after the photo shoot was actually a very emotive experience. Daniella made the process of choosing artwork effortless. It can be overwhelming to view so many amazing photos and pare them down to a just a few. Daniella was great at focusing us based on our goals and wants. We decided to hang our artwork in our lounge room which is also where you enter and leave the house. This means I can enjoy it on a daily basis. It reminds us of the special individuals and bonds we have been blessed with in our family. To re-live the fun and warmth of that special afternoon together for many years to come.

It has taken me a really long time to figure out what it is about photography that makes me love it so much. I am passionate about what I do, but how do I impact the world? What am I doing to leave a positive mark on peoples lives?
Every portrait I take, and every custom artwork I design and hang for my clients will be in their lives forever. In 20 years time when they replace their couch or get a new bed, the artwork will still be there. The only difference being the impact... it has on them everyday will be even more powerful.
You see, I take people on a journey to discover what they love most about their children and then I capture that. It may be the way his wife looks at him that reminds him of of everything she has and always does do for him, or it may be the way those tiny chubby little fingers wrap around yours. These are the moments we need to remember everyday.
