Food was great, good size portions. decor needs an update but the service was exceptional and good value for money.

The worst restaurant experience of my life! Bad food, bad staff and ridiculous prices. An hour of my life I can never get back...

Ordered the dozen mixed oysters to start, grilled snapper fillets and the 'Dannys Special (Eye fillet with bbq prawns)'. The natural oysters were anything but fresh...... snapper was cold and almost rubbery, however the eye fillet was cooked to perfection. The experience felt rushed and the waiters seemed keen to get us out even though the restaurant wasn't busy...... Shame, but I probably wont be back.

Fuken rip off $300 and they have a nerve too ask for a tip last time i go there fat and arigant service

I got a seafood platter for 2 to take away!! It was disgraceful 😝 I use to go there all the time. Not any more!! Danny needs to go there and taste the horrible food they are serving people still using his good name!!! The prawns couldn't even be eaten! They were too hard! Fish was dry! AND IT WAS EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT YOU GOT!!!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!
Will NEVER eat from there again and will tell people not to waste there money 😡

Very disappointing, service was terrible. Should not took booking if you short of staff, we were waiting too long for our main meal and drinks.
When we pay, we were told that can not pay by card, cash only!! We spent more than $150 but not worth it, we dont mind pay cash but when we pay for quality we expect quality! Not going back ever again, and will tell friends dont waste their time and money.

When I arrived at Danny's I expected a traditional Mediterranean Seafood experience. The venue is rundown and the staff stern faced. The restaurant is uninviting and the food poor quality and excessively priced considering the quality of food. We ordered a family platter costing $49.90. The seafood was extremely poor quality consisting of excessive batter giving the impression of large portions. The prawns and calamari rings were small and substandard. I'd give this restaurant a generous 1.9/10.

Grumpy staff, bad customer service and prices are ridiculous.

Was told to get out after ordering just drinks after looking at their overpriced menu. I get that some restaurants have regulations to serve food with alcohol to ensure the customer doesn't get drunk or whatever marketing scheme and I respect that every restaurant has rights but it is decent CURTSEY to not loudly demand food with one glass of wine. Not to of which was that appealing it having a faint lipstick mark on the rim but was rudely snatched away by the very waiter. Was looking forward to this place aswell...

Great food, excellent table service. Food excellent. Fantastic views, exciting atmosphere. The best seafood platter. Plenty of parking down stairs. Wonderful sea breeze on a hot day that makes the entire dining experience just that little bit more special. Looking forward to going back again and again.

The first 3 times I went there I had the best fish and chips I've had in Sydney. Recently I went back and it wasn't as good. I'm not sure if it's a one off thing but I sure hope it is

Food has always been good quality. This is a la perouse icon that has been around for a long time.
