The food is below average and over priced. I tried the cgicken briyani and it was horrible. We also got a chicken as entree and it came partially heated, bottom is cold and top is just warm. We got goat curry and seems to be overcooked. Stay away!

we ate from here via Uber-eats, and this was by far the finest Indian we’ve had in years! thank you for a delicious dinner. :) highly recommended.

I thought Nawaz was my favourite but now I can't really decide between the 2. Darbar's butter chicken is superior to Nawaz it is very delicious, to die for. They cook everything well, the only fault would be things like a delivery I ordered which was extremely late. One entree dish they serve in the set menu tastes like sweet cereal with yoghurt and is not very nice. however Id recommend you dine inside. the atmosphere is very nice, thats what pushes my score up to 5, its a special environment to dine in, and apart from that cereal like dish all the others were great :) . Anyway, if you dont like this place try Nawaz. They are both delicious!

The food is just okay (some are good tho). Been there once and they served our foods super duper late, while other tables who come later than us were served first. Bit disappointed.

Place with a very earthy look and delicious food to match. It's perfect balance for the Australian pallete and the Indians.
Great location, walking distance from Central stn, take a nice stroll from Broadway into the Glebe point rd

The best Indian we have ever had in Sydney. Hearty home cooked food full of flavor served by wonderful friendly staff. We will be back here again and again. Thank you.

OK food but very horrible service - I went to this place with my business associate for lunch. We ordered 2 curries and two breads. Host / server disappeared after dumping food on our tables. We wanted to order more bread but we just could not get anyone, trust me no one in sight, we even shouted. Finally I went to their kitchen and found whole staff giggling. They did say sorry, but by that time our mood was already spoiled. Beware folks..

Amazing food, charming friendly service, relaxing atmosphere. Some of the best Indian food I have ever eaten, including in Brick Lane in the East End of London, all over Australia and on the Subcontinent! The goat curry and dahl are to die for. A slightly modern twist based on sound traditional knowledge and understanging. Not overpriced. Overall a 5 star experience with a down to earth feel. Have I said enough? If you're into the flavours of India, do yourself, family and friends a favour - or favours!

One of the best restaurants I've been to in Sydney. I was waiting for my friends as I reached quiet early but the lovely host was very welcoming and I was well taken care of until my friends arrived. The food and the warm service made me feel like I am home. And I cannot stop talking about your music, you have to share your playlist please.....

Authentic Indian experience

Really unexpectedly interesting and also…  delicious!

Not ya normal Indian dishes, (in a really good way) there were lots of dishes i'd never seen before, or interesting takes on known ones.

Had a delicious and really unusual cauliflower dish, and a grilled entree.
The Veg Biryani was brilliant.

Good attentive service without being too in ya face.

Only down side was an Kingfisher beer listed as on tap was not available.

Great indian music playing when we arrived, but strangely, as the place filled up it morphed to indian versions of Taylor Swift. Weird but good.

I had a good dinner here. The staff are charming and food was delicious. Stand out dishes were the spicy "Chicken 65" and the biryanis. The mango lassi however was not to my liking -- it had a strange artificial flavoring type of taste.

All in all, I urge you to give this place a try!
