On Wednesday the 11th of July 2018 in... Quarry Green Ultimo from 11:00am to 12:30pm we will be coming together in a yarning circle to learn from the local Elders and First Nations Cultural Educators about the history, values and achievements of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community to enhance your knowledge, understanding and experiences of the Indigenous people to establish awareness and recognition. On this day there will be cultural activities for kids and families as well as, a delicious bush tucker morning tea.

The Pyrmont Ultimo Chamber of Commerce will be holding a series of Pop Up events in and around Union Square this winter. For three consecutive Friday evenings, businesses along Harris Street and around Pyrmont Village centre will stave off the cold and gloom with special promotional offers, outdoor entertainment, fairy lights and a warm community vibe. Retailers and food outlets are invited to be part of this exciting new event. You’ll be provided with a trellis table and fa...iry lights. To give the village a wonderland feel, shops will be decorate their store fronts and eateries will fill the chilled air with the delicious aroma of warm winter fare. This is an inspirational initiative to help ignite communal spirit and mitigate the dampening effect of winter on local trade. The Pop Up events will be held on Friday evenings from 3pm – 7pm on June 22nd, June 29th and July 6th and have been timed to capture the local after school and work crowd, tourists, and visitors to the area. The late afternoon/early evening activity will help stimulate trade for all surrounding businesses and help boost the night time economy in the precinct. We appreciate the fact that you came, once again, and supported our community on such an important occasion.
