The experience in here is always reliably poor.
I try to maintain an empathetic outlook towards people who might be having a bad day, but when every member of staff is rude or disagreeable and uninformative, I struggle to understand why a business would even open its doors.
This is a busy clinic and wait times are to be expected. However, waiting in line listening to the reception staff's phone manner when dealing with phone calls and the carpark access was almost enough to make me spin on my heels and leave.
After arriving to the head of the line I was treated as if my presence was a hindrance to the receptionists day. Again, just as disagreeable in real life as she was on the phone.
The male doctors that I have encountered here have always been either rude or incredibly short and unhelpful in providing information about treatment. I had one doctor prescribe me a Texas steak when I presented with low energy levels and seeking help to balance my vitamin intake after transitioning to veganism.
The only things that this place has going for it is the female doctor staff and its location.
I will always request to see a female doctor if one is available, and I highly recommend others do the same here if you want to receive proper care and have the process explained to you in a polite and caring fashion.
In a time where there are ample opportunities to access bulk-billed healthcare, with great new clinics popping up all over such as Collective care, in Edgecliff, I am inclined to travel further for the treatment and care that I expect from health care professionals.
I suppose you can study for 8yrs, with your head in a medical book and still manage to graduate without any manners or common courtesy for your fellow man.

Disgusting experience. Reception beyond rude. Doctor had no idea what he was doing after a long time of running him through quite a simple problem again and again and again. Went to hospital had the problem resolved within 10 minutes by a nurse with absolutely no lack of understanding as the Irish/Scottish "doctor" seemed to have. Such a simple problem should've been a quick fix, if I'd taken his advice and just "gone home" the nurses at hospital informed me it would've become a critical issue within 24 hours. Never met a doctor so confused by his profession.
Do not waste your time. So unsafe! Can't wrap my head around it! Would give 0 if possible AVOID!!

Watch your belongings. My $100 Italian belt was stolen off me by the male ultrasound operator. After returning an hour later, after leaving it in surgery, he had left, locked the room and It was apparently my fault for trusting medical staff. Woeful.

Always a positive and professional experience with reception and medical staff. A more efficient system to register patients with specialist appointments is necessary. I had a 12:50 appointment with a specialist, waited 30 minutes at a very busy reception to have my attendance registered.
Should note that the receptionist managed the rush well, but a self serve registration would improve efficiency.

Both me and my girlfriend have been here on separate occasions; myself for migraines and her for insomnia. When I went, they started talking about doing meditation and insisted it was because I wasn't meditating enough.

I laughed it off when I walked out and just dismissed it as an "OK, that was weird" moment.

On her visit, they straight up told her to sign up to a yoga class and insisted that she needed to end her relationship. That's where I draw the line. This is extremely unprofessional and just plain rude.
What kind of doctor gives unsolicited relationship advice and recommends Yoga?

Absolutely speechless at the attitude in this place.

The office staff were absolutely useless. They told me a fee would be charged to transfer notes from only around 5 visits but could not tell me the cost.
It took my current GP to call to find out the process takes 4-6 weeks. Its a joke.
The doctors are always busy and in a hurry to run through patients too quick even when dealing with mental health.
Patients beware of this surgery

The reception staff are some of the rudest people on earth. You walk in and they don't even look up and say hi. Then they look confused when you ask to see a doctor as if you should be ordering coffee instead. The doctors are hit and miss depending on who you get. However if you want a free appointment at the weekend it's bearable. I've also never waited less than an hour to be seen so take plenty to read.

User

This place is not good the only positive is the long opening hours. I waited for 2 hrs and watched both doctors leave for "food" at the same time and leave just 2 patients in the waiting room that they could have seen between them before they left or preferably communicated their meal breaks so the medical
Centre would not be left with no doctors for half an hour.

User

Even without an appointment, I never wait more than an hour for one of their doctors, conveniently available from 8 in the morning till 10 at night. They're an eclectic but fairly friendly bunch. Not only is it convenient because it's all bulk-billed, their pathology clinic is in the same office, so no need to go elsewhere to get blood work done.
