We had my son’s birthday there and the service was excellent and the view spectacular.

What a difference 2 years makes. Just moved back to Dee Why and unfortunately the owners need to remember that a successful bar needs a refurb every 4 years to stay current. The views alone can't stop the competition new taking over.
Dirty. Staff unfriendly & unattentive. Music low key for a Saturday, hardly anyone here. What changed 🙈

Get a fully hoppy IPA on tap permanently, and I'll give you 5 stars!! 😁

Deck used to be good but in the last couple of years is slowly gone downhill.

The beer selection is bad, they used to have around 3 independent local breweries on tap. This dwindled to two, then one and now zero. The beer selection now sadly consists solely of mass produced corporate, multinational beer.

There seems to be no love, attention or basic care taken to the decor. The tables are dirty and sticky, the staff don't seem to wipe down the tables. The fabric on the chairs in the outside area is full of holes, tears and very dirty.

Overall it seems like the owners or management no longer care. It's sad because Deck is the only bar on Dee Why beach, there is no where else you can go for just a drink directly on the beach. They are really doing the area a disservice with the lack of care, attention and poor beer selection. Particularly when there are 4 local breweries in Brookvale and Mona Vale and Deck has chosen to stock multinational beers instead of supporting the local breweries.

Best wings on the northern beaches. Wednesday is 50c wing night

Pearla of a spot especially on the second floor looking out to the ocean! Good atmosphere and the lunch specials are decent. Good place but deadset dont bother with the 2 for 1 pizzas on Thursday was pretty devo to be honest.

Have had a few meals here .. view to die for (of course!) .. excellent cocktails ... we have always had lots of nibbly bits, conversation and soaked up the atmosphere ..

Really nice place to have dinner and where you can also grab a beer. It gets pretty busy on thursday, friday and saturday evening. It closes around midnight.
