Dedes Watergrill Restaurant

Very good menu and great location

After reading the menu & seeing good reviews, we were looking forward to our dinner here. My husband ordered our meals, went from there to the bar to get a drink. He got back to the table, sat down & had a sip of his drink, we looked up and the waiter was there with our meals. All within 5 mins or less of ordering!! Sound alarm bells. There's 'good fast service' and then theres 'fast it's obvious it's just been zapped in the microwave' service! Both meals were bland and lacked any hint of flavour whatsoever & we thought we had chosen pretty well. Price was high considering what turned up on the plate. $25 for some re-heated lamb mince, mixed leaves (no dressing!) & some pita bread? Please! Maybe we have high standards being from Melbourne but seriously, my dog eats better than that tripe!

Not good....ordered fish and chips and it was at the table before I got back...it must have been sitting there cooked for sometime....and was quite cold....our friends ordered at the same time but they had to cook their food so it arrived 15 minutes later...so then we could start....it was very cold by that point....

Decent food that is reasonably priced. Tick.
Good selection of beers on tap. Tick.

The service isn't very friendly here which really let's the whole experience down.
