Delilicious Bundanoon

I had a weekday lunch at DeliLicious and I’m glad I arrived early and had the pie of the day and a sausage roll! Both pie and sausage roll were extremely tasty, flaky and buttery pastry with no grease and generously filled. A table outside on the footpath in the sun and a good book what better location for a tasty lunch, followed by peppermint tea and melting moment and Anzac biscuits. The service was friendly, swift and personable. This is one of the highlands best eating establishments, highly recommended.

Unfortunately we couldn't stay, but tried a beef sausage roll with apricots, nuts and sage to go..... it was 'delicious'. Next time we're in Bundanoon, we'll definitely go back. Yum!

This caffee has the best pies and sausage rolls I have ever eaten. They sell out very quickly though. They also have the best food in Bundanoon. Their coffee is very good. Owners are nice people and provide great service. You have to try the sausage rolls or you will die regretting it.

Cosy and nicely presented, Delilicious has friendly competent staff, restaurant quality meals, homemade snacks and cakes, and vego options too. Enjoying a beautiful outlook, you can sit warm inside or fresh out in the sun. The prices are very reasonable, servings as generous as the service and the coffee is reliably excellent. Occasionally we spot cool cars parked outside DeliLicious.
Who would have believed a 45 year old Datsun 120Y would be heading into “look what is outside” territory! In 2010 the Drive motoring supplement sought reader input as to the worst cars ever sold in Australia. Apparently about half nominated the Datsun 120Y.
Fair or not, this one has stood the test of time. Still going and looking good. It has outlasted its critics. Maybe oldtech will always outlast hitech? Thanks fo...r visiting.

More produce heading into DeliLicious food.

Thanks to local identity, artist and potter, Bruce Pryor, we have started using some handmade mugs for coffee, made right here in Bundanoon. You can find Bruce’s work in his gallery The White Room, located on Railway Ave.

This pic is Byren doing just that - he is making “health food”, otherwise known as winter soups.
Currently on the menu is sweet potato soup. This will be followed up by minestrone for the weekend and who knows what Byren will do with the rest of the veges in his kitchen. That is the beauty of real food at DeliLicious.

As you know Byren does not settle for the ordinary. He has been shopping again and found this.
Sometimes you want something a little sweet and refreshing but better than Coke. Frou-Frou is an Australian made cordial (on the banks of the Murray River) which gives you a refreshing fruit taste with actual fruit and way better than the sort of cordial you may remember from your childhood - just look at the preview of the product label telling some of the story.
The three flavours in store now are Pink Lady & Raspberry, Blood Orange & Cardamon and Lime & Keffir Lime. Image one of these with your favourite spirit or just on ice with Italian mineral water.

We have been very fortunate to have Senior Constable Mark Hutchinson as our resident Police Officer in Bundanoon. There is no doubt he is a good sport.
On Bundanoon Winterfest opening day Mark dropped in for some community engagement just as the team released their inner winter fairies. Not to be outdone by the DeliLicious team, Mark released his inner winter fairy. As you can see our community is safe with a Mark on the beat.
