Des Renford Leisure Centre

I swim here $ ties a week and my school gives swimming lesson at this pool and i do not think it is for no reason. This is a really nice place with all sorts of things to do because there is a gym and they also do yoga, fitness and all sorts of other stuff.
The staff are really nice and the instructors are the best

Pool is always busy and lifeguards less than attentive. Have had more bad experiences than good, so would suggest swimming elsewhere.

Great place for kids parties. The floating obstacle course keeps them fully occupied.

Car park out the front. Quite a few pools, some are indoor and heated. Great placed to bring the kids.
Kids parties with blow up jumping castle is good.
Also do swimming lessons and has a gym.

It's the place to go for a swim! Good comp pool for 25m indoor laps- outdoor Olympic pool gives you 50m.

Fantastic clean and friendly facility with easy parking. The staff are lovely and my 3year old son loves his swimming lessons which are reasonably priced. I would recommend Des Renford Aquatic center.

I am a local find this place poor for adult lap swimming, except in the summer when the outside 50m pool is open. Between the schools and the squads there are never enough lanes for a proper swim before and after typical work hours; the management obviously care less about working ratepayers than 'customers' who pay extra for reserved lanes (even though ratepayers pay most of the bills). The inside pools are generally dirty too. But in the summer the outside Olympic pool, together with the lack of school bookings, takes the lane pressure off and you can usually find an uncrowded lane.

As others have said, it can be a good place to take the kids year-round, thanks to the dome over the outside kiddie pool.
