In 1999 I established Design Atelier and have always specialised in residential alterations and additions and new homes. The name Design Atelier means design workshop and reflects the way I approach all my projects. I listen to everything you have to say and investigate any restrictions to your land. From start to finish my work is in 3D work allowing me to present you with all the possible design solutions and outcomes for your finished home.

When you first contact me the first thing I will do is meet with you on site to discuss the project you have in mind and then prepare an obligation free quote.

As a multi award winning designer I believe that innovative design, strong environmental and social sustainability strategies and real world solutions should reflect the distinct personality and unique lifestyle of each client, regardless if your project is a modest alteration and addition or a million dollar luxury home.

The new home or alterations and additions are all about your lifestyle, what you need, what you want, what is achievable on your land and allowed by your council. As part of my services, I come to you at a time that is suitable to you to present and discuss how to best meet all your specific wishes to achieve your ultimate dream home. Throughout the entire process I will advise and assist with all dealings with council and other regulatory authorities. I also deal with (on your behalf) all the consultants that may be involved on your project so that your building or renovating experience is time effective, effortless and pleasant.

All my documentation is of the highest quality with properly resolved, aesthetically pleasing and sustainably responsible designs prior to lodgement to relevant authorities. With extensive experience in dealing with councils from Pitt Water to Wingecaribee and from Randwick to Penrith, with everything in between I can get your plans approved by council with the minimal of fuss. Alternatively, if your plans comply with State Legislation we can apply for a Complying Development Certificate (CDC), with a 10 day approval time.
