What's the story behind Dev Inno?Founded by regional Australians for regional Australians. Dev Inno Ltd was established in 2017 by directors Daniel Merrikin, Gurminder Singh and Shaun Cumming to provide entrepreneurship and innovation opportunities to those facing disadvantage and significant barriers to engage with city-based accelerators and incubators. Dev Inno's inaugural accelerator program 'New Innovators' was run in 2018 and has spring-boarded the launch of additional accelerator programs for Indigenous Australians, youth, regional Australians, women and developing nations abroad, namely Jamaica, the Republic of South Africa and Serbia. Key highlights in the Dev Inno journey so far include: - Registration as a charity with the ACNC- Launch of the 'New Innovators' program in the NSW Northern Rivers- Launch of 'Sport for Life' social development program in South Africa and India- Launch of 'Young Innovators' program in Serbia- Finalist of Southern Cross Credit Union's community awards- Launch of '3xE: Employment, Education and Entrepreneurship' in JamaicaImplementation of our strategic plan 2018-2022 will see Dev Inno continue to roll out our virtual accelerator programs and international social development programs to more disadvantaged communities to help reduce the barriers to engagement. We will continue to promote economic development in regional communities and foster entrepreneurial thinking to discover new opportunities and promote self empowerment.
