Drawing musical influence from his childhood favourite artists such as George Benson, A Tribe Called Quest, James Brown, De La Soul, Lou Rawls and Ray Barretto; DJ CMAN (Craig Wilson) is today one of Sydney’s most versatile and in demand multi-genre groove selectors with the ability to keep both music connoisseurs, and party goers alike on the dance floor .

Combining dynamic skills, music knowledge and an infectious personality, CMAN blends the old /new /popular and obscure, with a fresh take and a mind to keep patrons on their toes with the unexpected.

His sets are mixed with a finely tuned ear, to seamlessly transitioning through genres; taking party goers on a memorable journey from Funk and Soul to Bossa, Reggae to Disco, Hip Hop to Latin or House, and beyond.

CMAN is an original and main stay DJ at the now nationally acclaimed ‘Soul of Sydney Block Parties‘ (recently featured as Time Out Sydney’s best outdoor parties) and member of ‘Soul of Sydney DJs‘.

Craig has played at numerous events and festivals for City of Sydney (Sydney Festival, Art & About, Chinese New Year), Barangaro (NYE), and Newcastle Councils; and performed at venues such as the Opera Bar, The Basement, Oxford Art Factory, Home Nightclub, The Argyle, Greenwood Hotel and many more.

Equally established in the underground music, bar and art scene, Craig regularly performs at DJ residencies, special events, and product launches /activations throughout Sydney.

Selected to DJ as Soul of Sydney DJs between artist sets at the inaugural SOULFEST Festival 2014 – arguably the greatest Soul music line-up ever compiled.

Outside of Sydney, CMAN has hyped dance floor crowds at parties at Australian snowfields, to Jazz Festivals on the beach in Malaysia. He has also been booked to play in the UK, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Thailand, China and Korea.

Also busy as a music producer, CMAN EDITS have a worldwide following with over 5K followers on Soundcloud. His edits have been featured on multiple releases, and on record pools such as BEAT JUNKIES and more.
