Oscar cadena (aka dj oscar cadena) began at the age of 23 years in a small Salsa club in his home town, all as an aid in the adventure of a great friend whom wanted to own a bar.

Oscar’s musical influence is based on the pop music of the decade of the eighties and some trends in the nineties contrast to the culture crossover that was born in recent times. In 1996 jonied one of the most prestigious clubs the city, Keoma.

After some time in the entertainment industry Oscar joins one of the most successful bucaramanga bars that even cuts in the collective memory of an entire generation of more than 10 years, El Bar de Pinchos which later on changed the name to “El Zoologico” to continue its party reputation for 11 years to come and becomes one of the best clubs of the east of the country.

In 1998 SanTelmo disco-bar opens up and straight away becomes “the place to party” in the city, thanks to its great program and musical style. Trend crossover was marked by the boom of Clubs Bogota (Colombia’s Capital City) and Cartagena (The tourist city) that made history in the whole country, making Oscar Cadena became one of the dj's most versatile in style, which you took a part of music festivals Bucaramanga and Cucuta.

In the year 1999 Oscar Cadena becomes part of Mister Babilla, a highlight in the nightlife industry across the country. Here Dj Oscar Cadena played for two years running to public of all ages and alternating with Dj's of the size of Dj go. Dj Hector Carrero, Dj Alexa, Dj Wilson Arenas, Dj Charlie Market. In 2004 joins tantra disco bar lounge, imposing a new musical trend, the concept of rumba and introducing his style and great musical taste which by now he was known for around the country.

Oscar Cadena involvement with local radio stations as “La mega”, “Los 40 Principales” became evident when he was part in large-scale production as Beach Dance Parade 2005, 2006 and 2007, Groovy Party July 2005.

Being a part of the staff of Cubic as a Dj participating new and creative development of the site of the city makes a little participation in Pachatata and ended his days in his hometown as resident in the terrace of La Calle Disco bar

Oscar as well play for 2 years at la cita and many event around Sydney, which led him to participate as guest DJ in celebration of 200 years of independence from Colombia which was held in Brisbane from the hand of Elkin Bernal and share decks at Monkey bar - Canberra.

Now after a many years of hard work and late nights, Oscar Cadena is recognized as one of the best latin Dj in Australia.
