Floral workshop today. Students did a great job using flowering gum, dahlias, celosia, hydrangea, banksia, spruce cones, eucalypt foliage, chocolate sunflowers and purple statice.

Looking to learn some new skills, I took Chris' workshop on the weekend and what a great experience! We did three different displays using a mix of native and more traditional flowers and got to take home our final display, including the vase we made it for and the tools we used during the workshop. He also taught us what to look for when buying flowers and how to take care of them properly.

I can't wait to visit the flower markets this weekend and put my new knowledge and skills to use. Thanks Chris! :)
