Doytao Thai - Boronia Park

Food good, eaten a few times service mostly good... simple request not accomadated... will go back though.

It's a nice local place that will feed you with consistent thai dish. Not so strong on spice or herbs, a bit far from authentic, but still knows how to make good tasting food.

I really liked their King St Fried Rice. It has sultanas, cashew nuts and pineapple, which all make the fried rice sweet and interesting.

Price is reasonable and serving size is generous.

They have an open kitchen which looked clean from what I could see.

This has to be one of the worst dishes I've ever ordered. Absolutely no standard whatsoever.
It's way too sweet and lacking any authenticity of real Thai cooking. It's not spicy at all and its way too sweet! Yesterday I also noticed the cook near the stove didn't practise enough higiene. Although she was wearing a transparent plastic bag, she was seen holding the order lists time and again with the same hand. She also stacked some of the plates (which contained the ingredients and
were placed on the metal bench a while ago) on top of other plates which also have other ingredients in it. Totally lacking in basic hygiene practice.

I feel that people who go there for lunch or dinner have been caught ripped off time and again by this restaurant's lack of care and attitude in providing healthy authentic Thai food. What's appealing is they just use an already made sauce for every dish. Doesn't matter if it's pad Thai or cashew basil or other stir/fry dishes. They all got the same basic sauce on it and they are way too sweet !

It's not good for health at all and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant's food at all!

If you want a much healthier option, I would try the tried and proven gourmet charcoal chicken shop (next to the Asian takeaway). They've got healthy salads amongst other dishes.

Personally I feel that only shops that provide great values to customers should be here and so far this boronia park doitao Thai does not live up to expectations.

Food is very average, ordered a Laksa & the gravey absolutely had no flavour what so ever, the lady taking the order was quite rude.

Friendly staff. The main dishes are very large but sweet and not enough spice. The spice ratio is hit and miss. I went a second time and the lunch special was great. Quick service and very tasty.
