Dr Porshee received his Masters of Surgery (Head and Neck) at the University of Sydney; and Bachelor of Medicine /Bachelor of Surgery from the University of New South Wales. He has also passed the General Surgery Primary Exam for 2015.

Dr Porshee's interest in Cosmetic Medicine started after his experience in assiting rhinoplasty /rhinology procedures (nasal reconstruction).

He is also a member of several professional medical societies including Sydney Catalyst, the Australian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine, and Glaucoma Australia.
