Dungog Museum Description

The aim of the Museum which is run by the Dungog Historical Society (a volunteer organization) is to promote local history and display of artefacts from times past. The recording of events such as April 2015 floods and the former Dungog Film Festival. History is a part of our every day life and it is only by the storing and recording of these events that we learn of how things used to be and in some cases the hardships faced by our forebears before the inventions of appliances that help us in our daily life. To look back into the past can be and is for some an eye opening experience.
