Duval High School, Armidale, is located in the New England region of NSW. The school was established in 1974. It is a centre of excellence in drama and public speaking and has received the Director General's Award of Excellence for Support for Student Learning and for Teaching. Duval High School has developed a history of excellence and achievement in many academic, cultural and sporting areas. The school has close community ties with UNE and the city generally. It also has a strong supportive parent community. The vision of Duval High School is to provide a caring, challenging educational environment where each individual is encouraged towards self-fulfilment, concern for others and the co-operative pursuit of excellence. Duval High School seeks to ensure a quality educational program for all students, providing a diverse curriculum, offering effective welfare programs and a wide range of cultural and sporting opportunities.

The P & C Operated School Canteen aims to provide fresh, healthy food choices for students and staff at D.H.S The successful applicant for the position of Canteen Assistant will assist the Canteen Manager in the preparation and sale of food/beverages, school catering, menu planning, handling daily cash flow and maintenance of facilities. Hours are approximately 15 Hrs per week during school terms (with additional hours as required).... Working With Children Check is essential. Food handling qualifications and previous experience in a canteen or similar enterprise would be an advantage.

In Duval High School's last musical ever, feisty young flapper Millie plans to find a job and marry a wealthy employer. Though fond of penniless paper-clip salesman Jimmy, she's determined to marry well-heeled company man Trevor Graydon, who loves Millie's roommate Dorothy Brown. As all four try to find love, evil landlady Mrs. Meers schemes to sell the orphaned Dorothy into white slavery. This amazing musical is set in the roaring 1920s and won the 2002 Tony award for best musical.
