Staff were pretty helpful in getting in what I was looking for

The store is quite small for the amount of books it has meaning a lot of the shelves are packed with them and some are very disorganized.

Another one of these chain stores that have cut back on staff. So it is difficult to get assistance when needed. Staff are not that friendly. A good range of books but a little expensive compared say to Booktopia.

Only place in the whole neighbourhood i found a map. And it was a good one. Exxy tho $$

A fairly large selection and friendly staff. The store could definitely be better organized however. It seems everytime I'm in this Dymocks it's like they are in the middle of a rearrange of the store that never quite completes.

I had a very bad experience here because one of the staff members tried to sell me a broken book for full price, thinking that I had not noticed. It was the book I wanted, but the last one left in store. When I tried to negotiate for the book, (which had the pages ripped away from the cover) she offered only to take two dollars off the original price. I understand that this a probably one-off experience but there are much better bookshops in Sydney.
