Marvellous Malaysian has arrived in Turramurra!



We have been dining at this local Chinese Restaurant for many years and were surprised, on arrival a couple of weeks ago, when we realised that it had changed hands! Concerned that our favourite dishes were a thing of the past, we ordered our all time favourite...Chicken Laksa, along with a number of other dishes. We are concerned no longer. The Laksa is nothing short of amazing - if you love the Laksa at the famous Malaya Restaurant, you certainly won't be disappointed.



On our subsequent visits we have discovered that this restaurant is no longer the average local Chinese but a culinary journey to Maylasia (when ordering the chef's authentic Maylasian cuisine). This is the best thing to have happened to our local restaurant scene and we should all encourage these new owners to include many more of the chef's authentic dishes on the menu. Dynasty Chinese no longer! Bring on Dynasty Authentic Malaysian Cuisine. So excited to try many more of this chef's culinary delights!!!

The steamed dim sims are good. Most of the other dishes we've tried are pretty retro greasy Chinese food, and a lot of MSG overload.

Friendly place, great food, good value and BYO, what else do you need!?

I have had this Chinese food delivered twice and both times I was extremely affected by the large amounts of MSG. My partner had the same issue.

I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

Love love love this place! 10/10 chinese. I've always found it hard to find decent chinese on the north shore and northern beaches but this place is great! Money bags are great and would rate the satay beef.

Friendly staff but unfortunately poor value for money. The chicken chow mein was 70% noodles and the only flavour the meal had was of oil. The szechuan prawns were devoid of flavour too....I'm sorry but we won't be going back

Only 4 Stars as it is a bit on the expensive side but Dynasty is always a favourite and Holly always makes you feel welcome.

Tried this place because of the positive reviews but was slightly dissapointed. Food wasn't very authentic and price was a little high.

Nothing wrong with the food, but pretty standard Westernised fare. Pretty decent ambiance.

Restaurant changed owner and/or chief! Food wasn't up to standard (heavily battered, chicken dish was over cooked and dried), used to be 100 times better, very disappointed. Won't go back again.
