Eagleview Equine

The 2 new additions today are Ambroise the 5yo gelding and Gabriel the 4yo Clydesdale whom are both here to be broken in.

This time last week Alvin and Seeker were still being trotted around the round yard. They have spent the week learning to pick up leads and disengage their hip to assist their one rein stop. Today they both had their first attempt at cantering a small circle in the arena. Happy days 😀

Jammy thought she was back home in the mountains this morning. Another of her issues was stumbling but she was as sure footed as a mountain goat. 🐴

Jamaica's owner described her stay at Eagleview Equine as "boot camp". I have never been to boot camp but I do know what it feels like to be at the bottom with no other way to go than up! The journey has begun 😀

No rest for the wicked even on a Sunday. Wish I took more notice when I was at school!! Featuring Hermione, Jamaica, Seeker, Alvin, George, Doc, Diva and Jet. 🐴🤠

Hudson's stay with us ended yesterday. This beautiful big Clydie x came to us with a few phobia's. One of his biggest was water. As you can see he can now add this to his list of achievements. We would just like to take the opportunity to thank his owner for entrusting us with him. Wish you all the best together in your future. 🐴😀

Seeker and Alvin are owned by the same lady. We only started working with them this week. One more ride in the round yard before heading out to the arena.

George the thoroughbred yearling has almost completed his stay at Eagleview Equine. The last finishing touches to do before he starts his career as a race horse 🐎

Seeker and Alvin were the 2 new additions today all the way up from Murchison VIC and have taken up residence here for the next 3 weeks 😀

Hudson the gentle giant has just completed his first week with us. Upon drop off his owner eluded to the fact that he struggles with things that are new and different. This is just a few of things he has been exposed to this week.

Holly was sent to us 3 weeks ago to be broken in. It has not been all easy going but she is starting to understand the method now.

Diva was due to have a hit out around the barrels today. After the rain last night, upon inspection of the arena this morning it was decided to give her some exercises and just lope her around. 😀🛢🐴

Hudson the 4yo Clydie X is the new addition to the stables today. This big boy is here for a few weeks riding.

Hermione came back into the arena this morning after spending the last week out over the hills trail riding. After only 3 weeks at Eagleview Equine we could not be more pleased with her.

Oreo has completed his first week here. From the instructions of the owner it was obvious to us the first thing that needed to be done was to gain his trust. As each day goes by the relationship is building and the suitcase is getting lighter. 😀

When Oreo arrived on Sunday the first 2 problems the owner spoke to us about were...they struggled to catch him in a stable and they were unable to get him to stand still whilst getting on and off him...the suitcase has been opened 😀

Happy birthday to all horses. We make a living out of horses so it was only fitting to give them a carrot cake which all 8 of them enjoyed except Badger he doesn't like cake 😂🎂🎉

Cannot thank you enough for the work you guys did with Ernie!!! Absolutely amazing horsemanship!!
