East Coast Heritage Rail Description

3801 Limited was established in 1985 to manage locomotive 3801 and associated rolling stock. We operated this locomotive for 20 years providing many tours to the public across Australia. Locomotive 3801 was handed back to the NSW Government in 2006, and we continued to operate a range of tours throughout NSW. In 2019, we changed our name to East Coast Heritage Rail, reflecting the activities that we had been focussing on for some time and establishing a new chapter in our company's proud history of supporting the appreciation of rail heritage in Australia.
