East Maitland Bowling Club

My Fiance and I have been members of this club for almost 2 years. We visit approx once a month for dinner and for the live band.
Two weeks ago we ordered dinner at the cafe, when we collected our meals my order was missing salad. I asked the girl for salad and she argued with me and snatched the plate from my hands and said "I will get you salad then", in an aggressive tone.
We visited the club again tonight and ordered from the cafe again, the service was poor and the same young girl was standing in the kitchen snarling at me. After collecting our meals we sat down to eat, the meals were very poor quality, the schnitzel was over cooked and almost burnt, the chips were soggy and the salad was drowned in balsamic dressing.
My fiance and I will never order food from the cafe again.
The club itself is fantastic but the cafe staff are rude and the food is terrible.

Loved the Saturday buffet! Soo many food options. Great service and live music.

Second time going after first time was sick after eating.... got sick for 2days afyer eating here again. Will never go back.

Huge buffet with big range of Asian/Australian cuisine. Seafood was fresh and tasty, hot dishes were good quality and the carvery was awesome. Reasonably priced and kept very clean for a self serve buffet.

Large spacious club with a main restaurant and a smaller snack bar. The restaurant is obviously popular as it was full and a line of people extended from its entrance almost back to the reception area. We ate at the snack bar which prepared a variety of sandwiches, hamburgers, light meals etc and this was ample for lunch.
