Eastwood Library

Small compared to other Ryde libraries. Limited study desks and nearly impossible to find a place after school hours. Not very quiet after school hours!
Plus point is the staff are generally not rude like at the West Ryde library! Good job Eastwood on that.

Definitely needs an upgrade to keep up with the times and the growing population in Eastwood and surrounding areas. Not enough study space and seating

The library has ample places to study and gets considerable use. It would be good if it had longer opening hours on the weekends.

I Love this library! I find the selection of books, books on cd & the movies on cd EXCELLENT! More than that are the Staff. The Staff are Super knowledgeable & helpful. When I want to see movies & too tired to figure it out I have had staff take me through section and advise - they have turned me on to series on history & unique choices I never would have turned too. They get me books from other libraries on loan as well as books on cd. Thank you! Truly one of the best sources for inquiry, interest and entertainment. Oh! The biggest assistance helping me with computers at Library for creation of my latest resume, Thanks again, I am VERY HAPPY at my New workplace. Couldn't have done it without you!

Went to get some papers signed by their JP. Was given a ticket and told that my number would be called. Half an hour later, I realised that the lady hadn't bothered to tell me that the JP sits on the other side and doesn't call the numbers very loudly, so I'd missed my number and had to start all over again behind the queue.
Really average customer service. The lady on the desk should have clearly explained where the JP was in the first place >:/

Library itself is OK, but have some staff with terrible service manner. Today at service desk for a simple few seconds enquiry, a fat female staff with glass, greeting without look, talk with unpleasant tone and critic facial express, lack basic respect to visitor.

The worst library in the state. This infact is some kind of mothers & toddlers meeting club and the moment you step into here, you would realize that you are in a fish market. Facilities, esp toilets are also inferior as compare to other libraries in ryde.

Really nice environment, could be more spacious .

I do come to this library every Wed - Fri, the very rare days in which I've actually studied effectively would've been outside of school when I come here if I'm around the area, those are the days when there are no children around. I definitely do not blame the disruption on the children, but I do encourage the library staff to consider seperate study areas around the library rather than than the library being one full room.
