The rooms are a bit small and the song selection could be improved

Actually the worst. Closed, refused us entry and locked the door at 1:27am - three minutes before lock out. We knocked and told them we had a booking and they absolutely refused to open the door. Actually the worst service ever, if lock out is at 1:30am, then actually follow the laws and let us in if we come beforehand.

Love that you have joysound; service, pricing and environment are good too. However, I noticed that you haven't updated the songs for quite a while. Was quite disappointed not being able to sing バルーン's songs (e.g. メーベル), despite him being an extremely popular vocaloid producer.

Decent selection of songs but far too many cover versions to dodge copyright.

Good selection. One of the few places with Joysound systems. Updated semi-regularly.

Good customer service and decent beverage prices. The bathrooms aren't good though. We booked for 2 hours and it was value for money split around the group.

Overall it is one of the best Karaoke venues in Sydney given its cheaper rates on room hires and alochol as opposed to other pouplar venues. They had renovated last year so it is quite fancy now. As far as Karaoke system, they have Japanese and English system we could choose. More choices can mean something. I prefer the touch screen system though. Highly recommened to you!

Decent vibe, but minimum 1 hour doesn't allow for those who want to come in hard for one song. Cool bouncer.

The place's good, opened until late

After renovation this is the place I have been going to for karaoke. They have a wide selection of songs (especially Japanese songs on Joysound). The rooms are a decent size and can get stuffy sometimes but the people at the counter are always friendly.

If you can get past the sleazy looking halls and dank atmosphere, you'll actually find this to be a gem of a place. Music selection is great and it really feels private and authentic.

Finally! They have renovated the place.

For years this was the best and most comprehensive place to get Japanese Karaoke songs. Although the have raised the price, it is now in-line with most of the other karaoke places around the city.

The only down side is you have to indicate whether you want the Japanese system or the English system and they will have different songs available.

If you choose the English system, you will miss out on the huge variety of Japanese music. If you choose the Japanese system, it is a bit clunky and not user friendly.
