Echo Point Motor Inn

It was very clean, Staff were pleasant the bed comfortable the bathroom have been renovated. It is a little tired. I'll be back. Priced well

Great location and staff. Enjoyed my stay, it's only a short walk (about 20 minutes) or 5 minute bus ride to the town centre and very close to the three sisters. There's a bus stop right out front too which makes life easy. Would definitely stay again.

We were looking for budget accommodation for a weekend in the Blue Mountains, and the Echo Point Motor Inn was ideal, with free parking. Location was great; just a stone's throw from the Three Sisters and various walking tracks. The staff were absolutely lovely; very friendly and offering plenty of tips as we were unfamiliar with the area. We walked into Katoomba for dinner one night, and that only took about 15mins. The room was clean and had all the necessary facilities...they were particularly generous with tea, coffee & biscuits! Only minor issue was breakfast was a bit cold, but the selection was pretty good considering it was included in the room price. Bonus was to find they offer discounted rates on tickets for local attractions too, which was handy. All in all, it was nothing fancy; but perfectly adequate for what we required. Would probably stay there again if we go back.

I shared Room 127 with a friend from 16 October until 20 October and appreciated the discounted offers we were given on arrival. The complimentary cooked breakfast was lovely and the close location to Echo Point was a bonus. On the downside and considering the mature ages of most of the motel guests we found a lack of a shower rail in the bathroom was a disaster, and there was no shower mat or even a chair to make life easier. I felt the motel was stuck in the 1970's with dated decor and does need updating and why is there only a pedestal fan for cooling?

Room is clean. Strong water pressure making hot shower great. Staff can be heard joking around, great attitude. Breakfast is pretty good as well. To top it off, location is superb!

A warm and spacious room with all that was expected supplied including a microwave oven and free WiFi. The reasonable extra price for breakfast in the dining room was worth it as it was ready immediately and tasty with a great variety. The location was handy for walking near Echo Point and Katoomba Christian Convention. Buses to and from the railway station stop close by as well as tourist buses.
They were able to also store my luggage while I went for a walk.

Echo point motel is in the perfect location for those visiting the three sisters. Rooms are quaint, traditional motel rooms that are always tidy. Reception staff go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay

I stayed here last week and had a wonderful welcoming stay. The ladies at the reception were the best and helped me figuring out my itinerary for my two-night stay. I even got a complimentary breakfast when they heard I was all alone!
The motel is right next to Three Sisters and the bushwalks. I had a room upstairs and could even see some of the mountains.
The room was cosy and very clean, it had everything I needed for my mid-week getaway.
I will definitely stay in the mountains again and would recommend this motel for anyone who wants to get away in the nature.

I would not call this a 4 star motel a 3 at best.
Could easily be made a 4 with not too much trouble.
On the minus side-Rooms need to be modernized. Light bulbs beed to be put in light fittings. Rubbish bins need to be emptied daily.
Its called general maintenance.
On the plus side-good location, comfy beds and pillows, friendly reception.

Good room for the price you pay. Not the cleanest room ive been in, stained towels, dirty floor, unwashed cups. but i forgot about all than when we took a 2 minuet walk to echo point look out. Location is fantastic. I guess you get what you pay for

Affordable room in a great location. Friendly staff and no hassles. Took 2 young kids and no problems. Room had TV, fridge, shower kettle. Great chocolate shop and the 3 sister in easy walking distance

Location great. Rooms are old school but comfortable. Wifi is great. Staff are friendly and helpful. Even the cat is friendly. Real close to all the great views. I'd stay here again. Great place to stay for anyone on a budget.

Echo Point Motor Inn is situated close to shops only a short drive. 2 min walk to the 3 sisters lookout. And 5 min drive to Scenic World. Room is clean, presentable and cosy, Beds are comfortable. Shower is awesome. Breakfast is just basic toast crumpets cereal with coffee and tea but nice. Added bonus is free WiFi. Employees are very friendly polite and courteous. Would recommend this motel to anyone on a budget
