Ecoceanic Description
Melanie has utilised ghost nets & plastic found in the ocean and other post-consumer materials, generated into sustainable swimwear. Sustainable meets eco-fashion, the goal of which is to create a system which can be supported indefinitely in terms of human impact on the environment and social responsibility.
When this fabric tested in real life conditions proved to be two times more resistant to chlorine, suntan creams and oils than competitors' fabrics; these amazing results are achieved thanks to its innovative construction and to the presence of LYCRA® XTRA LIFE™

The apparel industry — particularly the inexpensive, runway-to-retail segment known as fast fashion — is known to wreak havoc on the environment. “The clothing industry is the second-largest polluter in the world, second only to the oil industry, ” high-end retailer Eileen Fisher has famously said (and repeated, and written, and tweeted).
This is how my idea came about, conservation meets fashion, to share, educate, inspire and follow my passion (the ocean) and share with the world. Be the change.
