I had never been there before but I work close by and had my dog, Angel, at work with me. She developed symptoms of bloat and my colleagues and I rushed her in to Edgeworth Animal Medical Centre without any notice. The staff responded to the emergency immediately and when it was ascertained that Angel could not be saved, their patience, gentleness and compassion was outstanding. Being given time to say goodbye to my beloved girl has helped me deal better with my grief. When I am ready to have another pet, this will be my VET.

Amazing staff and service, especially for small animals. We took all 5 of our rabbits here and the staff literally treat them as if they are their own pets. We have several vet clinics closer to our home however will never take them anywhere other than Edgeworth. I simply can't speak more highly of them. They are knowledgable, kind, caring and reasonably priced, you also get a lot more for your money here. Take your furbabies here and they will be in good hands!

Outstanding service. We called just before closing time on a Sunday afternoon and they accepted to see our rabbit who had a gash through his eye. The counter staff were lovely and the vet was incredible. Very knowledgable, caring and just overall the experience was fantastic from the first initial call to leaving with our fixed up rabbit. Pricing was excellent compared to other vet clinics. We will be returning! A+ 10/10

I took my 6 week old kitten to the edgeworth clinic almost 2 weeks ago for a check up, flea and worm treatment and a blood test to check him for anemia because a day before my other kitten, his brother, had died and he was severely anemic and couldn't be saved. It hit him very suddenly and out of nowhere along with other terrible symptoms. I had explained all of this to the vet when I took my kitten into the clinic, he was anemic but it wasn't life threatening low and after his flea and worm treatment he had picked up.
Then yesterday morning he was extremely sick, and in the exact same way his brother was just before he died. I had also noticed my other 2 kittens seemed a little 'off' and not really themselves, I took my 3 kittens into the Edgeworth vet clinic and I expected my very sick kitten to be euthanized too, he was so sick I thought he wouldn't even survive long enough to make it to the clinic.
When we got into the clinic he became more alert and active again, out of nowhere. The vet said he may actually make it and they will do a blood test for anemia again, it was higher this time and it wasn't from severe anemia. They said they didn't know what was wrong with him and that it could be a virus and if it is there is nothing they could do for it, but that it also could be anything and there is no way tell. I told them about the symptoms of my other 2 kittens and asked them to check them over for any health problems too. They literally just looked at them on the floor and said they look just fine and nothing is wrong with them. I asked a lot of questions to try and find out what was wrong with him and what caused it so I could try and save his life, pretty much every question I asked the only response I received was "I don't know" and "there's no way to tell" and to be getting more irritated with each question I asked!!
Then I was told there is nothing else they could do for my kitten and all I could do was take him home and wait and see, he will either make it or he won't! Not long after I got my kittens home my sick kitten became worse and my other 2 kittens became extremely sick too. It looked like they were all about to die right in front of my eyes. I then called the vet in Fletcher and told them my kittens symptoms and asked for an appointment to see a vet there because I didn't feel the vet at Edgeworth clinic had properly treated and cared for my kittens at the Edgeworth clinic.
Even over the phone they could tell much more than at the Edgeworth clinic, and that all of my kittens symptoms were the same symptoms as a cat/kitten virus that is going around and it's called Panleucopenia/Panleukopenia virus. When I took my kittens into the Fletcher clinic the vet knew exactly what it was and it's this virus. She answered all of my questions and more, she actually cared and was very competent. She put my kittens on medicine to clear up their symptoms and to give them a better chance at fighting this virus and all the information I needed to look after them and how to try and keep them alive.
I spoke with them at the Edgeworth clinic today and told them what is actually wrong with my kitten and that my other 2 kittens are also sick, like I had thought, and which I asked for them to check but they did not! And to inform them that they have had kittens in their vet with this virus. I was told they didn't know it was this virus because it's been years since they had seen it and didn't recognize it. Seriously?!!
It is more than likely this virus is what my other kitten died from, and also, my kitten who was sick first yesterday, may have also had it, without symptoms, when I first brought him into the Edgeworth clinic almost 2 weeks ago. Now, he definitely does have it, as well as my other 2 kittens, when I brought them all into the clinic yesterday. Because of their ignorance and incompetence they had not known my kittens were carrying this virus into their clinic, a clinic where many other cats and kittens are also taken into!

Lovely friendly staff, got straight in when my dog was unwell. Thoroughly explained the whole process, including costs, and felt very assured. This will now be our regular vet.
