Australia's oldest surviving house - beautifully restored colonial history museum great educational value for the kids.

Nice flowers and people. Not much to do tho.

Well this was a wonderful surprise. I took my tweenager niece and two young sons. All three had a ball. They got involved in convict servant activities like clothes washing and maintaining the veggie garden.
The most spectacular thing about this place is by far the sensational homemade scones in the cafe.

Pleasant to walk through the place, the historical home and lawn is fairly well presented and maintained.

A beautifully kept piece of Australian history. Very interactive for the kids. Little miss 5 loved climbing into the beds! Lovely staff and beautiful scones in the tea room.

Great museum, not a lot of information plaques etc so definitely take advantage of the free tours. It's awesome to be able to interact with objects, pick them up and feel them. I asked a question our wonderful guide, Jane, didn't know the answer to, so she got the archaeological excavation report for me to find out. Great experience!
