Emily Veness has been applying makeup in a professional capacity since 2005.

She was in the education department at Napoleon Perdis for four and a half years, teaching new recruits how to refine their makeup artistry skills in the brand's induction program.

Emily also presented paid makeup workshops for the public at the Paddington and Parramatta makeup academies under the Napoleon Perdis brand, empowering women with the skills to apply their own makeup beautifully.

She has also had the opportunity to be part of the Elite Makeup Artist team at Rosemount Fashion Week for Napoleon Perdis two successive years, applying makeup for Camilla, Dion Lee, Ruby and Small bone, Dhini and Rachel Gilbert.

As the trainer for Australia and New Zealand at Christian Dior Couture, Emily facilitated makeup training that outlined the staff makeup and grooming guidelines for the luxury French house.

She also assisted with the creation of makeup looks to be worn by Dior staff Oceania wide, as well as overseeing makeup application at special events and the grand Sydney flagship store opening.
