**Please be aware that massage during pregnancy differs from regular massage. When looking for a pregnancy or postpartum massage therapist make sure that the therapist is CERTIFIED in Pregnancy Massage. This means that the therapist has undertaken special training to obtain a critical knowledge of pregnancy and anatomy of the pregnant body and has a specific skillset to know what is a safe practice for a mother and her baby. Just being a remedial massage therapist doesn't mean they are qualified to give a massage to pregnant and postpartum women. Just because the brochure offers pregnancy massage doesn't always mean everyone is qualified to perform this type of massage.
