About Enactus University Of Sydney

Enactus University of Sydney is a student based organisation that utilises entrepreneurial action to create sustainable social change.

Enactus University Of Sydney Description

Our projects are first-class demonstrations of the power of entrepreneurship, enabling progress and enhancing the lives of those we touch.

Our current projects include:
- Culinary Tales: Culinary Tales is a social business that seeks to empower refugees by providing them with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience whilst coordinating their own cooking classes. These classes are open to all members of the general public, and the service has also expanded its offering to now include corporate and high school cooking classes across Sydney. The Culinary Tales business model has been designed so that all profits are either returned to our refugee chefs as income or reinvested back into the program itself.

- Mudansa Project: A project created to combat respiratory issues from open-fire cooking methods in East Timor by utilising the principles of entrepreneurship and innovation to manufacture closed-fire stoves, stoves which produce cleaner, less harmful smoke and burns biofuel more efficiently.

- The Pop-up Project: The Pop Up Project exists to empower disadvantaged youths, providing them with business, hospitality and customer service skills that not only increase their chances of employment but also cultivate a stronger sense of independence and self-determination through 'Pop Up" street food stalls.
