Encore Dance

Encore Dance provides lessons for Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap and NEW to 2019 Singing Group classes, for ages 3 + years in a fun and safe environment.

Encore Dance welcomes each student to a fun, safe learning environment, participating in weekly classes with a happy group of dancers whilst learning and appreciating the art of Classical Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap and Hip Hop dance at Henderson Park Hall, Lockyer Street, Adamstown.

Our aim is for each child to develop self-confidence, group work, as well as dance techniques. Weather it is for recreational pleasure or to engage in more competitive, advanced dance tuition, we invite you to enjoy and grow with us in our exciting dance school.

Dance teacher / owner Miss Kirra has danced since the age of 3 in Classical Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz and has achieved high results in both competitive competitions and RAD Classical Ballet exams. Miss Kirra has also been a featured soloist singer for 5 years in the largest school Newcastle production Star Struck. She has also been a chosen soloist performer for the Lake Macquarie International Children’s Games, both Newcastle and Lake Macquarie Sports Awards Ceremonies and gained the most votes in the Newcastle, Hunter area to perform alongside 2015 X Factor winner at RUN NEWCASTLE 2016 event. Miss Kirra shall be performing at the upcoming Charlie’s RUN 4 Kids in November 2016 to raise money for a wonderful local family with their 14 year old son Jacob suffering with A. L. L PH + Leukaemia. Kirra also performs at many local festivals and gig bookings.

Miss Kirra has appeared on television shows since 5 years of age with Comedy Inc. (Crackerjack Productions), The Sunday Night program and working as an extra for several years on Home & Away (Channel 7). Commercials include Fetch TV, Mitsubishi, and Metropolitan Water for Life, Best & less. Her print work includes David Jones, Rebel Spot, That’s’ Life, Big W, Wentworth Courier, Gumboots clothing and Sunday Life.

Miss Kirra loves working with children and will teach and respect each individual child to enable them to be happy whilst learning. Encore Dance is a family friendly studio and we look forward to growing and sharing many fun times with you all.

Classical Ballet - 4: 35pm to 5: 20pm
Hip Hop - 5: 25pm to 6: 15pm

Wednesday
Tap - 4: 45pm to 5: 30pm

Thursday
Contemporary - 4: 35pm to 5: 20pm

Friday
Pre-Junior Jazz – 4pm to 4: 30pm
Junior Jazz – 4: 35pm to 5: 20pm
Intermediate Jazz – 5: 25pm to 6: 10pm
Senior Jazz – 6: 10pm to 7pm
