Esteem Hair Beauty Spa

Major letdown.!
Was really looking forward to a relaxing pampering experience but I have to say the whole experience was a huge letdown. I have never been to Esteem but from my experience don’t believe they are strong in the day spa area, maybe with hair but definitely not day spa. Products used for the facial smelt and felt lovely and the lady was nice but my back massage was less than ordinary, just lots of pushing but no massaging, head massage which is usually a favourite felt like my 6 year old son did it while being preoccupied with something else. The hand massage felt great for literally the 5 seconds it lasted (less arm and more hands would have been nice). The music was so loud I couldn’t even start to think to relax, I did ask for it to be turned down but then noticed why it was so loud, to drown out the loud laughter and talking which I heard the rest of the way through my session. I questioned about a eyebrow tint which was meant to be included, but I was told it wasn’t, I then had to ask for a brochure while getting my pedicure to show it was, even then the therapist had to ask someone else. Pedicure felt less then luxurious out the front sitting next to someone waiting for a treatment, sitting on really uncomfortable chairs. No one’s fault but to top it off, while trying to make myself comfy which was near impossible, my phone slid through the chair right into a lovely bucket of old smelling feet water from a previous pedicure, maybe these should be cleaned up once the client leaves instead of sitting under the chairs. Areas on my feet were missed, I had to pluck the remaining hairs from my eyebrow wax when I got home, you had to know what colour you wanted for your polish as they don’t have sample charts or colours on display. Less than impressed for $220! Have been to cheaper beauty spas which feel more luxurious.

Sarah-Beth and a 1st yr apprentice (whose name I didn't get) were excellent with my hair. I've been having severe frizz issues where my hair was bleach damaged, but Sarah-Beth offered a solution that worked wonders (Smartbond). A colour, style cut, smartbond treament, and blowdry was $230 total, but worth it. The blowdry has lasted me 5 days so far, feels lovely and soft, and needs no effort to maintain. I still had the curls/waves that Sarah-Beth did even after sleeping on it. The staff were very friendly, although I'd say the lady who seemed like the manager needs to be a touch more empathetic and gentle on her staff. Some are a little younger so may just need some nurturing. This place was great, I've had so much trouble finding a decent hair dresser in the Penrith area and this place is worth it.

I organised a last minute appt with the team at Hair Esteem and they were very helpful, courteous and made me feel welcomed despite my frustrations from another salon, came to Hair Esteem to be fixed!!! They did a great job, and returned my disaster to awesome within hours. Highly recommend the team at Hair Esteem to anyone.

Love these guys. Friendly team that make you feel welcome, and most importantly they listen and understand what you request. My hair colour and cut has not looked this good in a long time, special thanks to both Amber and Emily.

Thank you Monique for doing a brilliant job on my hair today! I would have never imagined that I can achieve such a beautiful honey colour - coming from shades of red, black and brown. I travelled for one hour and a half to get to your salon and it was worth every minute. I took a risk, because I have found it hard in the past to get the results I wanted. I was under the impression that some hairdresser just don't listen. I loved the way you were given a hand with the full head o foils to achieve an even result efficiently.
You and your team were very friendly and welcoming. You're main concern was my comfort and full satisfaction. To top it up, my family loved my hair! Thank you!!

I had my teeth whitened at Esteem Hair Beauty Spa and I couldn’t be happier! The staff were super friendly and accommodating and even made me feel relaxed and comfortable with a process I was a bit apprehensive about because of my sensitive teeth! Highly recommend :)

Just had a facial with the lovely Amanda it was fabulous, she made me feel very special did not rush gave me the best massage I have ever had I will recommend her to everyone I know what a lovely young woman.

Great service and experience. A young woman who was very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. She understood my needs (eyebrow related) and met them wonderfully.
Upon booking, it was a busy period before Christmas, but you couldn't tell, they were very happy to accommodate a spot for eyebrows. I called to check availability and they had a spot one hour later.

After my daughter got her formal make-up done elsewhere, which looked awful and made her feel like not attending her formal, we came down to Esteem to see if they could help. From the time they picked the phone up to take my desperate call, to encouraging my distraught daughter to get out of the car and come in, the girls from Esteem were wonderful.
Thank you so much to Caitlyn, who did an outstanding work of art with her makeup and made her feel confident and happy again.
