In 2014 GoPet.net. au was launched, by leveraging the existing customer base and a solid experience in online retail. Australian pet supplies industry is ready for substantial online sales growth and premium pet food is the cornerstone for sustainable growth and customer retention in this segment. Supported by the launch of the new brand and website GoPet.net. au, eTail Ventures is building a database of pet owners in the same strategic segment of women 25-44 years old, and at the same time, expanding the customer base, is starting to aim to a broader female audience: a new website is about to be launched in the health and beauty care online space. In this broader demographic, over 60% of customers own a pet, over 1M have a baby or a toddler between 0-4 years old.
