Team Paltan come together to celebrate the soundtrack
After celebrating the incredible trailer launch, the cast and crew of the upcoming war drama, Paltan have come together for another big night. The star-studded music night saw director J P Dutta joined by stars of the film Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Gurmeet Choudhary, Luv Sinha, Sonal Chauhan and Harshvardhan Rane, as well as music director Anu Malik, lyricist Javed Akhtar and singer Sonu Nigam. The cast and crew were also j...oined by their families for a heart-warming night of celebration and music. The evening was made even more special by Sonu Nigam who sang Main Zinda Hoon, a song from the film, which is set to be released soon.
Paltan,directed by J P Dutta,is a war drama based around the Indo-Chinese war. The film also stars Jackie Shroff and Esha Gupta and is set to release on 7thSeptember 2018.

Anushka Sharma’s 2 month embroidering coaching for Sui Dhaaga
Mamta aka Anushka Sharma plays an embroiderer from heartland India in Yash Raj Film's upcoming entertainer Sui Dhaaga – Made in India. Known to be a perfectionist, Anushka left no stones unturned to perfect her role on screen. Anushka’ s character in the film becomes self-reliant by using her talent of embroidering and makes a name for herself in her community along with her husband, Mauji, who is a tailor. Togeth...er from being unemployed, they become success stories by putting their skills to good use.
“I’m always up for a challenge, up for a new journey and experience through my films. I knew I had to look the part and also come across extremely confident with the art of Sui Dhaaga. I knew I had to give in considerable time and effort to look like an authentic embroiderer and I was really excited to learn this skill. I really dived into the prep sessions and I enjoyed them thoroughly,”says Anushka.
Producer Maneesh Sharma adds, “Anushka becomes the character she plays on screen. That’s her unique and rare talent. She knew the art of Sui Dhaaga because she did a bit of it at her school. She practised it thoroughly and she was a pro at it. Anushka is a perfectionist and she ensured that she prepped for about 2 months before she gave the first shot of her embroidering and it was perfect. She used to do embroidering even on the sets so that she keeps practising the skill. I think after a point, she just did it because she was having fun on the sets.”
Sui Dhaagabrings together National Award winning producer-director combo of Maneesh Sharma and Sharat Katariya after their blockbuster Dum Laga Ke Haisha. The film is a special salute to the inherent entrepreneurial spirit that the youth of India and our local artisans have.
A film about finding love and respect through self-reliance, Varun is paired opposite Anushka Sharma who plays an embroiderer in the film. Both champion actors, Varun and Anushka have been paired for the first time and are definitely the most awaited on-screen pair of 2018. Yash Raj Films’ entertainer Sui Dhaaga - Made in India is set to release on September 28 this year.

ZEE5 Film Festival exclusively screens ‘Baarish and Chowmein’ with Tigmanshu Dhulia and Amit Sadh Film premieres 31st August on ZEE5
Directed by National Award-winning director, Tigmanshu Dhulia and starring Amit Sadh & Tapsee Pannu, Baarish and Chowmein, screened yesterday at The Cuckoo Club as a part of the ZEE5 Film Festival. The movie will be available on ZEE5 from 31st August.
... The story revolves around Siraj who is unable to rent a house in Mumbai as not many are willing to accommodate a Muslim. So, he hides his true identity and finds a home, where he falls in love with the landlord’s daughter, Neelu. Will Siraj be honest and disclose his secret to Neelu?

Releasing the movies exclusively on the digital medium as part of the ZEE5 Film Festival will help take it to newer audiences. Amit Sadh: “Baarish Aur Chowmein is a simple love story showing how love eventually prevails. I had always wanted the movie to be available in the public domain and I’m glad ZEE5 is making that happen with the ZEE5 Film Festival. With Baarish and Chowmein, I got a chance to work with Tigmanshu Sir, which has been a great learning experience.”

T-Series and Ellipsis then launched Sures...h Triveni as director in “Tumhari Sulu”, and more recently, Soumik Sen for his second feature, “Cheat India”, which is currently under production. A statement from the producers read, “Tahira has worn several hats…. from being the programming head of a radio station in the North to a theatre writer-director, author, teacher of mass communication and journalism, and short film-maker. Her incredible stories are rooted in realism and heart.
