Euglorie is named as a tribute to a highly regarded gentleman of the District and NSW Pioneering Pastoralist - Mr Charles Euglo Burcher,

In Joint ownership initially owned "Euglo" then added to the stead with "Eugolong" and Bena Stations. These properties are located on the southern side of Condobolin - West Wyalong Rd / Burcher districts.

Charles E Burcher commissioned the Trio of terraces in Orange Street and the Villa in Denison Street to be built in the early 1900's.
Also to be noted for his generosity and support of the growing District building a theatre at the Condobolin Hospital.

Upon his retirement to Cambelltown NSW he purchased and renamed a Victorian estate "Euglorie Park" where he lived out his final years before passing 26Nov1916. That property is captured in the black & white cover image which was formerly known as "Parkholme" and as a heritage interest in the Macarthur region - presently preserved and is an active Childcare Centre. .
